Lane sighs, staring out the window.

Tove's been great, and Connor's great, and Dagmar is.. you guessed it, great, but it's so SUNNY and happy today annd there must be joy

instead she feels trapped

But she'll be good, she'll.. ooo shiny

A red rubber ball glistens outside, it gleams, i's small, simple, and yet, someehow she wants that ball more than anything she's ever wanted

"Lane, you want popcorn?"

That's when Dagmar sees Lane is at the door, hand on knob "No thanks"

"Uh, where you going?"

"I want the ball" She says as if that explains everything

Brow.

And out she goes

"Ex cuse me, kiddo?"

Dagmar follows.

And Dagmar sees the same red ball, it flickers with glamour

And Lane trots to it, hand outsstretching

"Lane, stop."

She moves to intervene, between centaur and ball.

Centaurs are fast... and if this were a longer distance, Sam would have no chance. But Dagmar knows this yard, and has long legs so manages to block the ball

And the girl blinks, confused, "Dagmar? what are we doing out here?" Her view of the ball obscured.

That's when the white van starts to drive away... the veil on it breaking

"Somebody is setting a damn trap."

"TOVE!"

"Lane, inside!"

Lane nods and races inside

Tove comes out, staff ready

"Hunter."

Dag hastily goes to her motorcycle, revving up to chase the van.

Tove calls out "Dancing fire streak forth, find the villains follow their course" And a wisp shoots after the van, "Dagmar, be careful! the wisp may help you stick with them but .. I can't o with you" Frustration in her voice as she glances back to Lane and yes, CJ.

"Protect her!" Vroooooooooo,

And off Dagmar races after the van.... it tries to veil again.. but the wisp follows anyway and that helps Dagmar focus, well that and troli will but yeah, smart move mom!

Tove is the best!

Now it's up to Dagmar's driving!

or, it could be up to some IDIOT from New York city who proves why they should stick to the subway! the jerk pulls out in front of her withou looking both ways!

Rather than smash into the rental prius, Dagmar is forced off the road and her bike takes a bit of a banging

There is QUITE a bit of swearing as she tries to not get injured or totally wrecked.

Her bike is fine... her leg.. is.. broken. DAMN it

"GODAMMIT!" She howls and punches the ground. A glare at the fucking prius.

Which.. just keeps driving. In a world of darkness, little evils are done in little ways by assholes
