Browndog

Browndog is snuck a greenbean.

"I guess some changes are okay."

"Like Browndog living with us?"

"Yeah. TwoBit likes him."

"Twobit likes ordering him around" She says

Mmph Jaymes protests this defimation of his little dog

"Yeah, she's the boss. Browndog is chill."

"Well, don't tell Odin that"

"Odin is outside of dog hierarchy."

Jaymes chuckles at that ("Cats think they're above ALL laws")

"They do!"

"As long as he's stopped chasing Raindrop" her mom says

"Well, mostly."

Sound of scrambling and a small neigh near the bookshelves

"Oh tha animal!"

"She likes being up high!"

"So does your cat" her mom says

"Sure..."

She looks out to see the bookshelf.

"Yup. I'm going to have to pick that up" Tove says.

Her huband grunts "I'll get it. You need to write that song"

"What song?" Tove turns

"The one celebrating how lucky the Chieftain is to have our daughter as a vassaal" He says

"Oh!" Tove's eyes light up!

"Da-ad!"

"No this is GOOD" Her mom says excited now "I need to get to work on that"

"Oh jeez..."

And yes, her mother has gotten a pen and a napkin

Jaymes looks at his daughter, a SLIGHT lip twitch ("I'm not even sorry")

"You aren't!"

Another munch of his plate, and that slight lip twitch isn't so slight ("Not even a little")

"What rhymes with worthy?" mutters Tove

"You two!" She protests, but she's smiling.

"No that doesn't rhyme at all" Her mother says still working at the napkin

But then she bends over and kisses her daughter right between the horns
