A voice that is not the worse, but good lord is off key, croons out of the hallway near Piper's room. Siv and Jonas left about an hour ago.. but it would appear the situation left an impression on a local pooka who is having fun at Piper's expense, and mutilating an 80s sitcom

"There's a satyress on the fourth floor, she likes trolls? Me I think they're a bore. She likes em tall that's plan to see. And she bosses them merciously! Piper in charge be they thanes or them knights! Piper in Charge , she makes them wear clothes tight! And I sing, I want , I want Piper in charge of me! but Piper likes them large and good in a fight, she wants them big as a barge as they cuddle at night so ... it doesn't matter that I want, I want Piper in charge of meee!"

Rikki belts it out with gusto.

By the twelvth refrain it .. it might get a bit much

Finally the door opens, and a snowball explodes in a puff on Rikki's chest! Piper, freshly armed from her own balcony, stands by with a chilly armful. "Avast, ye scurvy ringtail! First Mate Piper arming the cannons!" Another one at hand and launched!

"ACK! Call the Society of prevention of cruelty to pooka! Call the Raccoon too movement! " Getting poofed by the first one, she scrambles to avoid the second or tries to "Call the Actor's guild of America, there be scabs among us!"

Piper chases after her, laughing and tries to dump one down her collar.

That poor pooka is no match for satyr speed "Back off, I'm rabid.. gah, COLD COLD!"

A laugh as snow gets strewn across the hallway. "Come on, come in and warm up - want some lunch?" Correctly interpreting the girl's expression - "Don't worry, I didn't cook anything. Jonas made breakfast and I have leftovers"

"Wait, you have Jonas niblets?" She perks right up as she starts to head back towards Piper's apartment "I thought you devoured him whole?"

"Not quite... hey, are you calling me a whale?" Sticking her tongue out as they head in. "Eggs and sausage, I can toss them into tortillas with hot sauce? I can't cook worth a damn, but at least I can assemble. And the magic box does the rest!" A fond look at the microwave.

"Why else would he harpoon you so regularly?" Fuax innocent look, then she eyes the microwave with reverence "Oh, magic box. Magic box" A bit of a chant

As food is prepared, Rikki says "how are you holding up, Cali Girl?"

"I'm doing swimmingly. A trip to Fenix restored my love and bolstered me against the dreaded cold. That, and a promise of a tropical vacation to come." She grins to Rikki. "How have you been? Up to no good, I assume?"

Rikki says "Dad tried to lock me in a box when the wackadoos went around taking out pooches and monkeys..." Irritaated at the memorie "And then Tikki had a kung fu showdown with a bandito and he got even MORE Paranoid. It's hard to be bad when the good guys are smothering you. I told them, I have freedom of religion.. but family you know?"

"Sounds like YOU need to go on an adventure. Check the local QuestsList and see if anyone needs help?" A grin.

"Help? " She looks confused "Helllp" As if testing the word "I have heard of this word, but it sounds ..itchy"

The magic box dings and they share the food "mmm reheated Jonas. tastey"

"He's also good cold out of the fridge." She grins. "Oooor you can set off into the silver and see what dreams may come? An adventure!"

Rikki ponders this "I COULD... should I bring you back something?"

"SPices from exotic locals ? Delph from the Netherlands? Monsters from the abyss I stare into?"

"...Delph? What's a delph?" She giggles. "I might regret this, but.... surprise me."

Rikki gives a HAPPY Smile

Piper rolls her eyes and mutters into the air, "That's YOUR problem, 'Future-Piper'. "

Then a grin.... "You wanna climb over to the other balconies with me and make anatomically correct snow sculptures?"

"So tacky" A beat "naturally I'm all in"
