Siv points out

Jonas , ever practical, is cooking a hot meal in the kitchenette with preferences of hot tea, cofee, and cocoa

A HUFF, and she stretches instead, reaching out cold toes/hooves to press against the nearest warm part of Siv.

"GEEZ" she says 'how do they .. you can't use the fuzzy part?" But Siv doesn't move away, rather blowing into one hand, then bringing it over a hoof even as they stay pressed against her thigh

Mmm.. troll skin is suprisingly warm , at least Siv's is

Jonas comes up with hot drinks for both ladies "A deep freeze means there's less chance of mosquitos in great quantity this year, if it lasts long enough. So there is an argent strand through the cumulus nimbus"

A contented sigh, and she looks over at Jonas. "I wanted to ask... where did you grow up? Somewhere cold? Warm? Tropical? Tropical and we can visit?"

She trades him a kiss for her mug.

"I did spend several years... Mmm" enjoys the kiss "In the South, and then more years in the Atlantic on islands. IT's how I learned how to turn into a whale. That said, with warm tropics comes hurricanes so.. a little snow isn't so bad"

"They have hurricanes... but also sugar canes." A cheeky grin.

"Oh yes, and many national allows allow gleaning on the edges." He nods "I used to snatch a few and munch"

Siv says "Gadzooks, our Jonas, Bohemian?"

"Do you have family back in the islands?"

Jonas stops and seems ready to think about it and then says "No. No family"

Siv tilts her head

but lets it slide

A small frown, and then Piper fills into the silence, "Well, you have us here."

A cheeky grin to Siv. "Do you think we can go on a ship-trip sometime? A Narwhal cruise? I bet I could learn to tie some knots... and even some for the rigging, too. If Jonas is first mate, I don't even mind being relegated to Cabin boy. I can swab a deck with the best of 'em..."

Siv says "Oh I'd love that but.. maybe first week of march? Dad wants me to hang closer to home and support mom for a bit"

"Sure! I need some time to brush up on my nautical lingo any way. "Starbucks and port..." She muses.

"You're doing that on purpose" Siv says with a groan

Jonas caught off guard, actually laughs

Innocent blinking, but she fools no one.

And can't hide the giggle. "Oh, the look on your face though!"

"Ooo I ought to take warm thigh away" Hurmumph but instead she warms the hooves

And then tickles the calves

A yelp and she twitches back - only to thump onto the floor, and knock her head lightly into a coffee table. "Ow - I deserved that! I love this place, it's perfect for just me, but it feels "cozy" quick with guests."

Siv looks at her "Oh hey the head.. you okay?"

Jonas also looks worried

A chuckle as she sits up, rubbing her head a bit, though there's not even a bump, really. "I'm as hard-headed as a goat."

Siv helps her upright "Stubborn as one too." And kisses her lightly "Tell you what, you tell me what beach you want to hit in march and we'll go. You pick"

"I'd like to see something of Jonas's." She admits, looking at the male troll. "If you are in the mood to go back there, that is. I've been thinking... I know you, I love you... but there's a lot here that's a mystery." Tapping Jonas's chest, and then spreading her fingers across it, enjoying the feel of his heart under the muscles. "And I want to learn about you." Beaming up at him.

Siv says "She's not alone"

Jonas blushes "Well, I guess we could hit a few of the old spots. I shoudl not keep secrets from the women I love"

A bright smile! "I can't wait."

Jonas says "She does know it's still febuary right?" A look to Siv

"Since when has Father Time had a chance against Piper? She'll pull his beard" Siv says proudly

"I know that, silly. That's why you're here. Oh, dear. You look cold. Why, you're practically blue. Let me warm you both up."

Jonas looks.. intrigued by the offer "Well, it would help fend off the cold"

Siv grins "I like the way you think"

and well...temperatures rise soon after most pleasantly
