"I did! A whole thing. Did you know there is a Falcon spirit?"

"AND were-ravens!"

"Yes, and yes, but YOU aren't supposed to know" She says "Gah. I bust my hump to be good and not to tell all the garou secrets to my best friend, to be a good philodox, and some chatty raven just gives away everything! Typical corax!"

"Well, I met the Falcon, sort of."

"Falcon is a powerful totem, bit of a snob" She says "Probably why the Fangs like him" A sigh and then a sniff "They do something to you?"

"They were really nice. My house, we're Falcons, too."

"So, like, there was this Fomorian.. well, close to what I know one of those to be, like, evil spider-mutant squid thing..."

"Ugh" She nods at the description, as if this does not really surprise her

At least, not the appearance.

"So, anyways, the evil thing was pretending to be a regular werewolf, part of the pack, and was looking to cause trouble."

"The Raven, she knew what was up but he'd managed to trap her in a cage that burned. Honestly, I thought it was just a regular bird? But, like, it was a Falcon what led us TO the cage..."

"Well, sounds like you got the spiritual okey doke from Falcon. That's strong" She says "how'd the others take it when you and this satyr chick snapped them out of it?"

"Pretty good! The bad guy had trapped the BIG Falcon in a web thing in your Wolf-Dreaming Spirit World, and I got him free with Flyswatter."

"The wolves were pretty mad, obviously, and then they saw the bad guy for what he was so they set on him."

"Huh." she nods "Yeah, only way to recliam their honor"

"I helped fight, and the pack decided we were okay. We got to claim a boon, and the whole treaty got worked out to keep up despite the mess. And, check it..." She tugs up a sleeve to show the scarred glyph - that's a falcon alright!

A low growl at that "not jealous, not jealous, not jealous..." Then a sigh "Okay. Jealous! I wanted to be the one to carve symbols into your flesh. Okay not THAT but you know what I mean"

She bites on her lip. "Did I do something wrong?"

"No.. ou didn't" Lupe says truthfully "YOU were and are a hero. I'm proud of you. Just Rails and the others are always telling me not tell too much, not to let you too in on Garou ways.. and then.. some other pack gets to tell you stuff I've wanted to for a year" She gives her a hug "the older generation is annoying. You know?"

"I... yeah. And I... I didn't brag on you to them, cause I didn't want you to get in trouble?"

"I appreciate it" She says "ti's okay though. Besides, I'm a Gnawer, we're not always beloved" Amused

"Well, you're my favorite werewolf."

"Darn straight" Lupe gives an elbow nudge at that

"And honestly, I'm pretty sure we were lucky. No way I could handle a pack of werewolves if they were mad. I mean, just ONE... seriously, you alone can kick my ass. OH!"

"Oh, check it..." Rummage, rummage - a harmony flute!

Lupe can feel the Gnosis within it, a songbird spirit, sweet and peaceful, willingly bound within.

"This - like, if you play it, you can stop it when someone loses their temper. Like at the dance? Or.. I mean, you've not seen me lose mine, but.. it's.. similar..."

She looks at it Sniffs "Songbird spirit"

and smiles "that's a wonderful item"

"I mean, nobody wants to hurt someone by accident."

"I mean, it cost me a lot of dross... but, like, worth it."

"Wait.. a lot of dross?" A surprised look

"In trade for the flute."

"Huh" She says again thinking it over "I think the Baron has a good trade going if he gets the same deals"

"Maybe I should talk to the elders to start a few trades" She looks. .guilty about something

"What's up?"

"Just... I should have been on the look out for magic like that flute to help you. I didn't even think about fae frenzy I just.." She scowls "Whatt kind of bitch am I for a friend that all I did was block you when I could have talked to the elders and told them we could maybe swap some things. You are one of my best friends in my LIFE and I just treat you like you're there when I Need you. Feeling like a real jerk"

"Well, you aren't a jerk."

"Mmm and I have to accept that because you say so huh?" but a bit of a smile

"You do! Falcons don't lie!"

"Yeah well, I pick good friends like that" She bumps the tall girl again

"You got great taste, yeah." Grin.

"Tthanks. But I AM talking to the elders about this. The cat's out of the bag with you, or the ravenn out of the cage as it were, and you wear a mark of friendship. I should be able to blab all the time to you"

"Well, I won't tell your secrets."

"I know" She says "Another reason to open you up to us." A mock hurt this time, clearly fake "Can't believe you're seeing other Garou"

"Well, it was a rescue. I'm a knight!"

"Huh.. they needed you to rescue them, I rescue you. I like THAT. "

"Rescues all around! We're just big damn heroes."
