"Why do you need to make donuts? " Tove asks

"Um. I may have promised Connor..."

" He was acting kind of funny while you were gone. Well, Funny-ER" Lupe pipes in

"Oh if you promised you promised Donuts then you promised. Yes. I can make them for you, or show you how" Tove says

"Connor was trying to do everything. He's a good kid."

"You could show me? I think it's important I make them."

"Come on, I'll teach you both while we sip hot cocoa" She motiosn them to follow

"What you don't just punch holes in them?" Lupe was looking at her gift with a smile, but rises to join the other two

"Sweet."

"Just wait and see..." And she begins to show the girls "now , do we know if he likes powdered, glazed, regular? "

"Powdered, like beignets."

"Beignets ? how did you learn about beignets"

"what's a beignett?" Lupe asks

"Special New Orleans donuts. Like Tiana makes."

"Oh honey I need to get a recipe for that"

"I only promised regular donuts?"

"Let's get your regular ones for now, powdered though we can do."

"Exactly, I figured..."

"He's gonna leave hand prints EVERYWHERE" Lupe says

Tove laughs and shows them how to make donuts

Dagmar is much more comfortable in a kitchen these days, so this s likely a successful venture! (Even if they aren't Kerri-class)

And Lupe is impressed "Wow, Sam you're like almost ready for a cooking show"

"And not the one where you suck and need help" She adds

Tove says "That would be Tiffany" Then she says "I'm so sorry"

"Ohhhh..."

"She's that bad?" Lupe says

"Tiffany used to be the worst cook in Concordia, but, thanks to help from Kerri, she's now only the worse cook in the Duchy. Please don't tell anyone I said so"

"My lips are sealed."

Ten minutes later, the system is explain, powder is prepared.. and fun is to be had.

Because for all the talk of childlings, who doesn't love donuts whatever age?

And , add to that, is Lupe, talking about her own adventures.... garou stuff.. and just glad to talk to someone who is on the outside, but still a friend.
