"Yo, maniac" A call near the Barn. Lupe hollers

"Hey!" A wave.

The light snow flutters around her as she approaches. Lupe's got a thick coat on, boots that can tread through, and practical thick pants "Where you been?"

"Quest!"

"Well.. duh, did you LIVE?" A grin

Lupe seems in a good mood

"Dude, okay, have you ever seen a vampire? Hey, you want cocoa? Tove made marshmallows, from scratch!"

"Yeah, remember the rescue at the horse ranch? And yeah? Wait, marshmellows from scratch? " That's new to her "This I got try." And she moves to her friend's porch, and wipes her boots

"Yeah, so we got to fight some on quest, in New Orleans!" Leading intot he kitchen. "MOM, LUPE'S HERE!"

"Lupe, long time no see, happy holidays!"

"Felicee Navidad to you too" Lupe grins "Or just about. " then "I got your gift, amiga" to Dagmar pulling somehting out of her coat "You open it on Yule or whatever works for your fam. Not before"

"Oh, I got yours! Upstairs!"

"Trade? " A grin

Tove comes out "Lupe... we've missed you. How is your family?"

"My brothers are idiots, my parents fuss." she answers "So. good"

Tove chuckles

Dagmar tromps upstairs.

Annnnnd back down. "You can open this whenever."

She takes it "Oh now I feel bad..." And rips into it

When she sees it, she blinks and says "oh wow. How'd you know?"

"You were talking about, y'know, stuff, and were like, talking about your chim-spirits? You said Rat was nice."

"Mother Rat is.. she's only the most sacred totem that.. she's a survivor, you know?"

"Oh I could see that. Rats are tough."

A beat. "And cute."

A brow "You hinting at something?" the Cute tough latina says

"Nooooo..."

Lupe grins. and then elbows hre friend "Thank you. It's awesome."

Then a pause "yo ucan open mine now if you want" She pulls out a gift from the coat "It's not home made and cool like yours"

"Oh, see, home-made is cause I'm a cheapskate."

"I'm glad you like her." A grin, and she takes the gift to open it.

"I love her"

The present opens.. oh.. it's just a shirt

"Sweet!" Dagmar declares, grinning.

"Oh that's wonderful" Tove delcares

"I knew you liked long sleeves. oh and that Xena lady" A grin

"Yeah, it's perfect!"

"I didn't think they still made shirts for shows that old."

"Oh yeah, big nostalgia craze I guess"

"Thank you, Lupe!"

"Hey, happy yule .. uhm that's what it's called rigtght? " Lupe says "I don't always remember"

Tove nods "Yes, Yule"

"Yule, but Christmas is fine, too."

"Well, happy yule, Merry Christmas, and a grand Festivus or whatever"

She grins. "You too. So - cocoa?"

"Oh, yes please" A look at Tove

Tove grins "Surely." And starts to rise

"I hear you make your OWN marshmellows?" Lupe asks

"Well, yes" Tove nods "Kerri taught me how"
