To Dagmar..."That sickle is bad ass... but if it's meant as a weapon? I'd just trip over it and probably slice my own throat..." Contemplatively.

She picks up the drum, turning it over.

"I do like the autumn vibe, though it's one scarecrow from being on our porch on Thanksgiving."

Reaching out to examine the stick with gentle touch.

"So, Vali, what's the story?"

Walking stick? Wand stick? I fell out of a tree stick?

"The sickle has two sides.. and really while you can use it as a weapon, it's magic is more feared. Wave it around clock wise, and you can create a temporary harvest... which has to be consumed quickly before it fades mind you. Wave it counterclcock wise ... those around you will feel like they haven't eatten in days"

"The Rain stick" he continues "Does just what it says. it summons rain.. real rain if nature is in the mood to go along. Butalways at least chimerical rain."

"I'd sell them to the DeBukes but they don't need either they claim"

"The Drum?" A grin "That one I almost want to keep a secret"

"Why do people just like yanking my chain?"

"Easy Grrr Falcon" He says "I say that because I think you might just enjoy the surprise. It's actually the one I think you might like most" True "but sine you seem a bit tetchy... it attracts wild animals. They like the sound of it"

"I just... it..." Huff.

Vali says "I get it... I do. After the first 'adventure' I can see why you wouldn't want to be toyed with."

She nods.

"Vali's never mean about jokes" Margilta, nocker childlingsays "Geez"

Vali looks touched at the girl trying to protect him but says "Margilita... I won't tell you their story but they went through a lot"

"Not everybody likes being the butt of jokes."

"For the harvest - when it fades, the effects don't, right? Like if someone ate from it, they'll still feel fed?"

"Have you thought about being the hind leg? " Tiffany asks "Mine moves when I'm tickled. SOO.." She asks "Ready to flip the table and rage quit?"

Deep in thought as he considers the options.

"Oh the food is real... for a short time. If you eat it within the first few hours though? Oh yeah.. it stays with you" He says "You can live off it. IF you have to"

Dagmar's jaw tenses at the nocker's ribbing.

Tiffany the pooka sees the motion "Hey, you helped my man, and we're all ready to run you up a flag pole. " She offers a Dr. Pepper, a cold one

"The rain stick might be helpful for bunks." He whispers to Dagmar. "For your thunder."

She puts the drum down. "I need some air."

"Rain stick in winter might sometimes cause snow or hail or sleet instead but..If there's a way to summon specifically I.." A surprised look at Dagmar "Okay, Dagmar. " Concern "Take a break"

She escapes to the porch.

Symon frowns... setting the stick down, and trails after her. A pause in the doorway. "You want some space?" Asking before he joins her.

"Need a minute."

Tiffany looks really worried

Margilila sighs "Well..darn it... why's she so mad at everyone?"

Gerd says "Marg... I got no room to tell anyone this, but .. give Dagmar her space"

Vali says "Margilta, when you're older I'll tell you about a really nasty individualI neverwant you to see in more detail. But if this is about meeting that guy, I guess I can't be surprised she's on guard. Just .. like Gerd says, give her space"

He nods, and comes out anyways. Moving to the opposite site of the porch, and just letting the cool air have it's say.

Tiffany frowns inside "I should get a gun and let her go hunt. Always cheers me up to shoot "

"Dagmar would never hunt animals" Vali reminds

"Who said anything about animals?" Tiffany says blankly

Dag doesn't seem to object to Symon's presence. She has her eyes closed, breathing carefully.

Vali closes his eyes at the table. Tiffany rubs his shoulders.

Gerd gets HIM a drink.

He's quiet, just letting her get her thoughts where she wants them.

And Margilta? She looks a bit sour. All she did was tell the truth and folks act like she did something wrong

A deep breath, shoulders squared. "Sorry."

He shrugs. "It's okay." He means it - he understands. Or believes he does, at least. "I could ask the peanut gallery to scram..." He offers.

Time passes. SMells of hot coco and popcorn
