It's Sunday, so Jaymes actually gets to nap later in the day, and boy does he need it.

And Dagmar gets a soft knock on the door to the house

"I'm up."

"Please" Tove says. Her turn to deal with a fussy CJ.

at least his temp is normal

"Sure..." She holds out her arms for the baby.

"No I meant get the door" she smiles "But either way"

"Oh."

"Want me to get it then?" She notices "CJ is fussy so I figured you'd prefer the door"

"Oh!" She goes to get the door.

It's Siv "Hey. Just the lady i wanted to talk to. HOw are ye?"

"Um. Okay?"

"How busy are you today?" She asks

"Just horses, I think."

"No problem, I'll help you with them so I don't waste your time as we talk." She waves "Hi, Aunt Tove."

"Okay? What's up?"

Siv says "Follow I'll tell you" And assuming they do, Siv does head to the stables so they can talk "So you know I'm a Fiona right?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Right, well the House is all about love, the heart triumphs etc etc..." She says as she pats Stormwake and breaks out the feed

Dagmar offers out a currycomb to Siv. "Well, sure." Agreeably.

She takes it "Thanks. Well, becaue of this, sometimes, not staying always, we fancy ourselves matchmakers"

"So you're trying to hook someone up?"

"In this case, I'm wondering if I need to keep someone together. Or am being asked too.. indirectly" A look at her "Nadeen was oddly chatty with me"

Frown.

"I think she was trying to use me to get the feel of what was ... going on between you? She didn't say it that way. Too proud? Too embarrassed? " A frown "Too scared? " All true "Look, what I want to do is pry into your life and make sure all is well. But you're a Gwydion and lying, even if that were my style, wouldn't work too well.. and frankly would rightly offend. But I think Nadeen is feeling shut out so.. you two okay?"

She combs as she talks

She brushes Star. "Don't wanna talk about it."

"Don't want to hurt her, neither."

"So talking about it would hurt her?" Comb comb "Getting shaggy there, Stormwake"

Grunt. ("Probably.")

A tilt, then a nod "I'm sorry to hear that. Look, I'm not wise, like Kerri, but seems to be sometimes talking hurts, and not talking ends up hurting more. Not with me, of course. But you and her. I think .. I think it might already be hurting."

"Don't wanna hurt her."

A nod and stroke "Of course you don't. You're a kind person with a gentle heart. " True "But sometime's a matter where it's a choice of two unpleasant options."

Stormwake bumps her . Combing isn't done.

"Tyrant" Siv declares at him, and resumes

"So, like, I'm screwing it up again."

"Like Adam."

"S'what you're saying."

"Stop that. " She frowns "Not every hard time is your doing. Not every hurt a loved one has is your fault. No. I am not saying any such thing." a snort "And Adam certainly screwed up a lot himself"

"He used to put words in my mouth all the time. I hated that shit." true

"But it's... it's like..." She frowns. "I'm doing stuff wrong. You said it. She feels bad."

"It's possible she feels bad for nothing. It's possible SHE screwed up. It's possible NO One screwed up. Love is complicated, and messy, and you can't parse out what goes wrong or right about it like slices of pie"

Grunt. That sounds like disagreement.

"i'm not wrong. You can ask Aunt Kerri if you like. "

Siv believes it true

"I'm not a good girlfriend."

"And there you go again, trying to put it on yourself when whose fault it is or isn't is hardly something to worry on. Fixing it if it needs fixing is" Siv looks at her "Dagmar, I'm a wee bit older than you, and a lot more experienced in dating.. and I can tell you honest and true I screw up all the time"

"And sometimes, I THINK I Screwed up when I didn't"

Shrug.
