"Ah, thank you, my liege but it's really not..." Gerd says

the Count shakes his head "On the contrary. I have just the thing. No sluagh has won an event today, so... " he gestures "I think this will suit you." A sapling tree in a vase. "this is ..a tea tree! Plant packets of your favorite trees and when it is grown that sort of treee will dangle and grow from it, not in tacky bags, but leafy collections. I do not know if it is suitably witchy but..."

"Thank you your excellency its wonderful!" She beams

"Good good. " he nods then a grin "Sorry Chieftain, no coffee bushes handy"

A brief chuckle. "That is well. Thank you for honoring my people, my liege."

“Does that make the Count my Great-Grand-Liege?” He asks his Knight, who answers to the Baroness, who answers to the Count.

"Given your people saved the lives of not just myself, but those unfortunates in the area? It was an honor to reward them"

Brow furrow. "I think sort of?"

ANd the Count holds up his hands "Pennons iss about to end. That was the last event but food drink and music t o be heard await you if you wish. thank you all for coming. May the Dreaming bless us all "

ANd with that, it's clear Pennons is over except for just those things

Brekke looks to Frank and nods.

Gerd looks excited to see the tree, but relieved she admits to Brekke "I was so scared he was gonna knight me"

Then she says to the various Rivervalers, "We must gather ourselves and prepare to return."

She raises a brow at Gerd. "We must speak about the possibility. You have earned the honor, more than once."

"But not, I think, this evening."

"AH.. " Gerd blinks "Yeah later when i can think is good thanks"

Dagmar hefts Connor up to her shoulders, piggyback.

A glance to Frank, then she looks to the others. "If the Mountain and I bring the horses back to Rivervale...would others prefer to stay longer, and later? There is still celebration to be enjoyed."

Siv says "If you'd forgive mom, I do feel like howling tonight"

"I came here with my folks, Chieftain," Sylvi says. "I can get a ride back with them." She doesn't seem in a hurry to let go of Colton's hand.

Colton says "Amazing Pennons"

Brekke nods. "Stay, and enjoy. Well done." She and Frank go to pack up the gear and the horses.

Gerd eyes Connoer on Dagmar's shoulders "Cloak's looking good on you"

"It's nice" Nadeen agrees.

"Kiddo, you ready to head home?"

"Dagmar, we can bring him with us. We will need help with the horses, anyway. But...you should stay longer, I think."

Nadeen says "Take him home. I need to go wish the Silverwolf group a happy departure. And congratualte them on their wins. Particularly Bluebell. Amazing"

Indeed, Frank is useful loading cargo!

Connor is dozing...

"But it is your choice, of course."

Siv says to Dagmar "You'rewelcome to join Piper Jonas and I as we go last minute shopping . Sales go crazy in the last hour"

"Nah, that's okay."

"Then let us go. The horses will be happy to be home, as well."

Siv gives a thumbs up and drags Piper and Jonas out "Okay . I'm thinking coats and jackets..."

As Siv goes, Brekke calls after her, "Siv...you did very, very well today. I am proud of you."

A bit of a subtext in that look: I worry about some of your life choices, but I am proud of you.

Siv turns "Du var også flott. Jeg elsker deg mamma"

Dag will make sure Connor is put to bed - maybe without waking him up at all! She will help Chief and Frank with the horses. The quiet routines are welcome for her - more welcome and more desirous than continued partying.

With a subext of: I'll be all right

That gets a grin and a nod from Brekke. "Jeg elsker deg, datter. Ga."

And off Siv goes

Frank has the horse trailer hitched and is loading the bed.

Gerd is just wanting to plant the tree but is not sure where to put it.. the lodge? Or Uncle Vali's home? Maybe near Klump? But that's too far. No, the lodge .

And yes, the return to Rivervale and settling are very trollish in nature...quiet, competent work.
