Dagmar got a break out of the crowd herself but she hears some conversation once away from the dance area ... from two shady characters

(And no, by Shady Characters I don't mean Adam and August)

She gets a glass of punch, and listens.

"so this egg is the real deal?"

"Yeh yeah.. keep it warm, wait a week, feed it a glamour now and then.. and boom. "

She looks for the speakers, and the... egg?

it looks like a sluagh with a hook nose and scabby skin has leather pouch with an egg shaped bulge.Big as an ostrich egg, and he's offering it to a shifty looking Clurichaun

And so she does - no use grabbing the sluagh, they squirm. Grab the goods.

"HEY the ..shit" the sluagh who she took it from recognizes her "Oh crap"

The Clurichaun whirls "Give it back or I'll..t " then he looks up, and up

"You'll what?" Stone-faced stare.

"I got a knife" He warns and he does. it's like.. sharp looking at his side

The sluagh..runs

She stomps on the sluagh to pin him.

"Ohcome on.. the clurichaun threatens you with a knife, and sure GOO for the sluagh"

"Answer me honest - how did you come by this egg?"

" Iknow a guy who gets odd things..." TRUE as far as it goes

"Is this egg stolen goods? I include stealing it from the nest."

She seems to not care much about the clurichan's knife threat.

"oh.. then.. it's ah.. it was stolen then"

THE chimerical knife comes out behind her "Turning you back on me was a big mistake"

She JABS an elbow back to knock him down.

Well.. that broke his nose

"I'll just be moseying along. Glad you stopped me. I hate working with violent people"

The sluagh says nodding TRUE by the way on the last part. Not true on the glad he got stopped

Grunt. She looks at the clurichaun. "You got a problem?"

Oh the clurhcauin is out. His knife is on the ground. Broken nose. His problem is going to be waking up

And the sluagh slips away

A sigh. She slings the clurichain over a shoulder, knife away from him, and goes hunting for a thane.

"Yeah. I asked what he was up to, he thought this would do something." She offers out Lucky and his knife. "The sluagh slipped off, couldn't hold'm both."

He takes the Clurichaun in custoday, putting on chimercial cufffs

"Yeah, rough year. I think I broke his nose."

"Sluagh was selling a poached egg. You want, I can try to figure out where it came from?"
