She turns "Oh... but.. but."

A sulk "Fine."

"I really almost did get it"

"Hey..." Frown.

Nadeen notes the frown "Sorry... I know you're just looking after me and..."A begrudingly look "You might have just saved my life. Thanks for that"

"I would worry, okay?"

"Okay" She nods and kisses her, "My heroine"

"Thank you." Solemn.

"You have troll brow" She strokes it, "I worried you, huh?"

"You almost drowned! What if I hadn't been out on Star?"

"I... uhm.. well, possibly I'd have got another dictum off to make a big enough passage to make it the rest of the way? Maybe" not registering as a lie, but that's because it's pretty darn vague and uncertain

BROW.

"It might have gone poorly" She admits

"And that would be bad! We need you here!"

A smile at that "Yes, my falcon. I'll...try from the shore next time" True! "and I'm sorry I worried you." True!

"Thank you." Softly, and she kisses Nadeen's wet hair.

Nadeen's hair, of course, looks glorious.

Even damp with lake water

"Anyone tell you you're sweet when you're worried?"

Dagmar blushes. "Um."

"You're sweet when you're worried" She says "And I'll go near the fire and warm up. Come with?"

"Sure. We can ride Star."

Dagmar gets the damp Varich situated on pillion before they head back for the Lodge.

And with the wings still on, they FLY part way, Star rather smug, before they land. Little spark looking up at mom

"Oh, you brat..." With affection. And Star DOES get an apple.

"Do I get an apple?" Nadeen asks fighting a smile

A soft snerk.

"Don't think you'd want these..."

"Probably not..."

"But I bet there are some in the kitchen..."

Stormwake shoos his son to rejoin Star as she's let in, he is happy to see her. Tail swishing

Spark trots up to his mom, happy

and Nadeen smiles "I bet there are. Come on," She takes the troll's hand. "Clearly I get in trouble without you"

"Right?" A grin, and she gives Nadeen's hand a lttle squeeze.

Nadeen gives a soft bell lilke laugh, and into the lodge they go.. before Snow can appear to ask about apples
