"Yeah, I know. I wish I could bring Star, too, but Spark's too little."

"Have Stormwake babysit" Nadeen says "He's a fae stallion, smarter than some people. He can understand baby sitting"

A smirk "Besides, Star might just love lording it over Stormwake"

"And Stormwake can nurse?"

"Well ah.. can't you store milk in a bottle?" She asks

"You need a lot, though."

"Hearth has a magic cauldron" She reminds "More Mare's milk than we EVER need"

Sigh.

"My point is, we are two brillaint women." A pause "Oh.. and if it helps? Aiden won't be coming along on the actual quest"

"That does help."

"Well, he has a fief to rule" she says

"Hmph."

"Hmmph growl grrr..." Nadeen kisses Dagmar briefly, "You know, I even missed you surly"

A little smile. "You like me surly."

"Not even a little" lie.. and her eyes admit it as they sparkle

"Hey!"

Oh now she breaks into a bell like laugh, "Fine. I do like you surly. Makes your eyes flash"

"Well then." She makes an exaggerated scowl, but her eyes glimmer with humor.

Nadeen mimes fanning herself

"Heh."

And she steals a quick kiss on Nadeen's cheek.

Nadeen's eyes warm at that and a smile does escape "I like that." And she takes Dagmar's hand again "How are you doing? "

"Doing okay. Busy, but better than it was - got crazy for a while."

"Good. I was kind of worried you were over stretched." She says with a frown "I guess I'm selfish . I like you having free time so I can steal it"

"Well.... better now." Nod.

"And so I can quest."

"We can quest." Satisfication.

"WE.. I like the sound of that" A happy sigh

A low whisper "I like them both fine, but sometimes it feels like the Siv and Sylvi show around here." A pause "Okay, maybe more the Siv show"

"Well, Siv is flashy. Fiona."

"Well.. yes. But let's get back to the WE part." And she rubs noses with the troll

"Um. Hey, want some lunch?"

"Love some!" She says

"Cool, let's go check out what we have. Maybe I'll cook."

"Can I watch or help if you do?" She rises to see

"Sure!"

And they go in to see Tove doing the bills she looks up "Oh. Hi girls. "

"Hey. Making lunch. You want something too?" Fridge-checking.

Mmm tomatoes... celery...sliced ham. Three types of cheeses...butter...

"No no. You girls have fun. If you plan on cooking there's enough material for dough... I got a bit too much flour"

"Mmm... maybe, like, ham and cheese rolls?"

"Sure. But are you going to need help? I'm a bit.." She sighs at the paper work "Trapped in red ink"

"I can do it..."

A beat, a frown.

"Are we in trouble?"

"Mm? OH no" Her mom says "We're actually doing well moneywise this month. I'm trying to make sure my royalties are going where they need to go"

"Whew" Nadeen says "Glad to hear it. My foster family can hardly afford to treat me like a princess anymore. Would you believe they think five pairs of shoes are enough?"

"Gasp" Tove says supportively
