PIper has to deal with Rikki's sense of humor at times, but if you can roll with that, Rikki is a good friend to have. She knows the apartments like the back of her hand, and sees opportunities. Case in point, the ice cream truck's schedule

"Don't let them leave!" Piper calls through the door as she frantically checks the rumpled up clothes on the floor until she finds a couple bills in a pocket! "Mama needs a Choco-Taco!"

"Come on, girl, get off the truck" The ice cream man says

Riki sits on it's front bumper licking an ice cream cone

Piper sprints over and gives the man a winning grin! "Tell me you have some choco-tacos today, pleeeeaaase!" And a grateful wink over to the pooka.

"Oh sure, " the man says with his mask and gloves on "It's Choco -Taco Tuesday" He says "Actually half price"

Her eyes crinkle above the mask as she grins, and also gives him a thumbs up to show off the smile she realizes he can't see behind her own. "I'll take two then!" Carefully uncrinkling the wadded bill to offer over. "Sorry, it went through the wash - at least it's extra clean, right?"

"In these times, extra clean is dandy." He makes the sale, then looks at Rikki "NOW will you let my ice cream truck go?"

She hops off "Pharaoh has changed her mind"

Two Choco-Tacos! half price on Tuesday. She needs to remember that

"Thank you for not hardening your heart, O Pharaoh. Now our savior of icey treats may pass to come again soon."

The wonderful ice cream man, giver of joy to all needing cold refreshment in hot summer, drives off, a tune playing merrily

Rikki rejoins her "Wonder how long before he'll find the Cadavers Frozen cheap bumper sticker on the front now?"

She covers up a snicker. "Probably not for a while, but remember, we WANT him to keep coming back!" She unwraps a choco taco and takes a big bite. "Mmmmmmmm. Now THIS is summer."

"Oh right.. boomerang ice cream" She shrugs "I'll be gentle..enough" And enjoys her own Slower though "How can you just CHOMP? What about Frain Breeze?
"

"Worth it..."She hisses out through clenched teeth, and then takes another chomp.

"Masochist"

"I mean, these are our glory days, right? We're young, Wilders, it's summer, and nothin' to do... " A sigh. "I feel like I -should- be doing something, and that's interfering with my relaxing."

Rikki rolls her eyes "Is THAT It? "

"Well, I can ignore it." A grin and she offers half of the 2nd ice cream over to Rikki.

A breath "BIG GIRL BALL POWER HOUR!" And she bites it.

Swallows

Goes MMMM

then clutches her noggin "And now you're a sadist"

A laugh. "We could go for a dip in the pool, if the rest of you cools off it should normalize the chill in your brain." Holding up a finger and nodding in a Learned Professor manner.

"Tell me more of this... Sci-Ence?"

"The secret equation is written on the bottom of the deep end."

"Oh .. the place where I put that scratch and sniff" A sage nod

"Fool me once..." Shaking her head with a grin. "Sometime you've gotta hop the trod to Tijuana with me. We could shake that place up between the two of us... I wonder if they'll throw another party soon. Sure, last time it was to test and hire troubadors, but why not have another just for kicks?"

"Troll run right? The same kith that stares at you like a statue and goes 'I AM Smiling'"

"I'll take Troll Lodges over hoity-toity elf halls any day of the week. Though the party that Earth Runes threw for Siv was pretty dang nice."

"What I mean is, trolls think an extra shot of sugar in the coffee is luxury, and bit of irish whsikey in the coffee is a bachanalia. Expecting ANOTHER party from a troll run hold before the year is out is like... I don't know, expecting a redcap to pass on seconds"

A siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. "You're right." And a grin. "Our party wasn't half bad, was it?"

"Did you get a chance to meet my cousin Basil Goldi-Horns?"

"No no... and I totally did not check out how he fit his swimtrunks"

A light blush

She just grins. "He may be my cousin, but he IS easy on the eyes."

"Shame we're not in Willows" And she makes banjo sounds

She snorts. "Technically I'm not related by blood to any of them. But when you grow up thinking of folk as your kinfolk, it's a little Alabammy, yup."

A snerk "looking for non related men folk?", then a shake of her head "You're a blond. Just to the mating call.... 'HOw Drunk am I?'"

PC Rikki is not

Eyes ROLL. "Girl, you don't need to get them drink, just wear something that shows off that trunk." Grinning.

She looks down "Stripes aren't sexy enough?"

"Stripes ARE in this season."

"Oh thank goodness. Because that Dalmation pooka was intolerable last year, the bitch" Rikki grins "So, bikini and yachting?" A look at the pool

Piper licks her fingers, then grins. "Last one in is a trash panda!" Taking off at a sprint!

"THat is OUR Word!" She yells after, but grins and off she goes as well
