Klump grumbles "Why are we doing this, wave lover?"

"Because you like me?" Siv says "And your magics can last longer..."

"I think I like the little thunder more" Klump ponders "Why am I not doing this for her?"

Siv eyes Klump and sighs "Bit blunt, Klump"

"oh." he says almost sheepishly.

"But honest," Jonas says carrying more lumber "Do you have any idea how hard it is to find 'recycled' lumber supplies? or Deadwood only?"

Siv looks down "Jonas, I am not killing a living tree for this. Adjusting, magicking, yes, but no.. thank you very much, I am not making my mother cry." A pause "okay, she wouldn't cry but she'd give me that look like I'd run over her heart. Besides, I like trees too, and Klump and I have an agreement."

"It will blend with nature or it will not be here," Klump says firmly

Hammering continues as Jonas brings up more lumber. "And the DeBukes swear by these plans? I didn't think they worked with trees that often?"

"They know barn making, cabin making and ... well, they say this SHOULD work" Siv says

"How reassuring" Jonas says "If we fall to our deaths, may I have the satisfaction of yelling with my dying breath 'I told you so?'"

Drawing from the inspiration of older women she's seen handle their fellows before, Siv says in a sweet tone "If it makes you feel better, dear." then motions for him to get to work.

Jonas sighs, and does just that.

And if anyone on patrol is nearby, yes they'll hear hammering.

Dagmar diverts, curious.

She is not trying to be stealthy.

Klump knows the sound "Little Thunder?" his voice can be heard between hammers easily

"Klump? Are you building? Somehow, I didn't think you'd.. like.. build with hammers?" She turns round the bend of the path.

"The hammers are not my use, little one I am using my hands and magic" He says

And she beholds a section of trees being woven together up high, some hammering yes, and Siv and Jonas are working at somemthing starting at 20 feet in the air. A platform of sorts, but it is looking rather natural

Siv calls down "Hey, Dagmar"

"Oh. Treehouse!"

Just a BIT of purple.

"Yup, and Klump is helping, see, our shapeshifting magics wear off, he can affect plants and grow them in certain directions and the like" Siv says.

"His powers are extraordinary" Jonas nods. "But we're also using DeBuke aid here and there."

"Well, yeah, Klump is pretty awesome... um... does he know why you need a treehouse?"

Klump says "They need a private area for their fleshy interactions" he sighs "I try not to imagine, but the squirels and birds do the same thing.. over my head. " A pause "They are not quiet about it"

"Okay, so you're warned."

Siv looks down at Dagmar "Warned? Seriously.. you know it's not UNNATURAL. Like the Glome said, 'birds do it, bees do it, even educated fleas do it"

"I said that?" Klump scratches a stony finger at his chin

"I think that's actually from a song" Jonas admits

"I.. I mean, it's..." She shrugs.

"Siv, I'm not Fiona."

"I know, and I'm sorry, Dagmar" Siv says "I guess, I'm trying right? it makes mom and dad feel .. uncomfortable for me to have ... well, a tryst in the lodge. And the Narwhal can become a threat to the Right of ignroance if I leave it floating in the lake too long. So...I thought this was the nice thing to do for folks. Respectful."

"I agree it is. Just, I mean... just... we know, so we don't have to... talk... about..."

"I think Dagmar is saying that she's not comfortable with converse on the subject matter" Jonas says kindly

Siv sighs "I know I know. I WAS too free last night I guess. But honestly, I'm not using certain words, I'm not going into details. This treehouse haven for two is meant to be romantic. you know? " A look at Dagmar "I'm sorry, Dagmar. I'm trying to find a balance. I am. "

"I know you are. It's.. it's my issue." A frown.

Siv pats Jonas hand, whispers something, and then swings down, catching herself, then drops down next to Dagmar and puts an arm around her "Ah,we all got issues. I think maybe i got so caught up in trying to be nice for mom and Da I forgot they're not the only ones with issues. I made you and Nadeen uncomfortable last night, didn't I?"

Shrug, frown.

"My issues. It's stuff wrong with me."

"Nothing wrong with you, just a few obstacles in your way is all" Siv assures "I'm sorry. Earth Runes, even the non Fiona, are a lot more lax about somethings to the point it made ME a bit ah.. shy. I'm back here and suddenly I'm the one upsetting folks again. All relative I guess. I'll figure it out. I hope this place will let me just .. help me find the right distance and boundaries for folks. And you deserve those boundaries. I come stomping back and suddenly even more... well, Fiona, and just expect you to cheer me on. Which is fine but I also get into your life and that's a bit... well, I can be a touch pushy when I don't think about it. I'll work on it. "

"You're not.. it.. you're fine..."

"Ah, I don't know" Siv says "I get the feeling some folks don't know what to do with me now that I'm back. Though it was nice of Nadeen to say it was good to have me back. I know she's not my biggest fan but it's nice to hear. So, how are you doing? I mean, I've seen the horses , of course"

"It's been mostly horses."

"Oh? So CJ has stopped all crying and trouble making?" Amusement

"Well, like, CJ is a baby, and Spark is a baby, and... and like.. I'm just taking care of stuff, you know?"

"You are," Siv says "But let me know if I can help? I feel like I am behind like on a dozen patrols at least. Give you aand Nadeen some free time"

BLUSH.

"We're.. I mean, we're okay?"
