Yep. The comet has thrown a few things off that have gotten lost.

Including what seems to be a cranky owl cat with griffin like thing

"Oh, no way!"

"You've never seen this one before?" Lupe seems delighted to see the troll surprised 'Not just me then?"

The owlcat thing looks at Dagmar and Lupe as if THEY are to blame for it having landed on it's ass in the forest, knocked out of the sky by a comet. What do they intend to do about this?

"Hey, buddy, this ain't my fault."

"Chimera come in all shapes and sizes, so lots of them are unique..." An aside, to Lupe.

Glare from the chimera. He doubts them. He doubts this whole situation. Getting up on his paws, he paces and SNAPS at the winged wolves nearby.

"Should we eat it?" One winged Wolf asks "Or just chase it?"

The Owlcat fluffs up as if to say 'You try it and I'll give you such a claw to the nose'

"I don't think he's food, guys. Lupe, you've met the wolves, right?"

"Yup" She says "Hey, Farhowl, Hi, Jumper"

"I bet I am faster than it though" Windracer says "it looks a bit soft in the middle."

"You are very fast, yes." She considers the critter. "He looks grumpy, or I'd pick him up."

The owlcat , still fluffed, snaps a beak, then shows the wolves his tail/Ass end and takes a slow walk toawrds Dagmar

Grin. "He reminds me of Odin."

A snerk from Lupe "Yeah, he's surly enough."

The Owlcat flutters abruptly to a tree limb near Dagmar and keeps eyes on the Winged Wolves

"Oh he's taunting us now" Windracer protests!

"Oh, he CAN fly."

"On those itty bitty wings?" Lupe says

"Like a bumblebee, maybe?"

Owlcat looks about, and then, as if he has a right, investigates Dagmar and Lupe, mostly about the pockets.

She pulls out a couple of kitty treats. "You hungry?"

Yup, very much like Odin in that look that says Well, Obviously

She sets the kitty-bitties on the tree limb.

And the owlcat munches them.

One of the skywolves flies up above the owl cat, looking down. It's Jumper

As the Owlcat stuffs it's face on the second cat nibble.

Jumper howls "HUZZAH" and swoops to land hard, not on the cat, but on the branch the Owlcat is on, before releasing his weight off it.

The results are spectacular! The Owlcat and the third kity bittie LAUNCH into the air, and not voluntarily. With the grace of it's feline side, the Owlcat turns and snags the treat in its beak, saving the important thing. Then races into the air.

"A chase, a chase" Winddance delcares and follows after

Farhowl joins

and the chase is on

Lupe whoops then looks apologetic to Dagmar "It's a canine cat thing.. you know what side I'm on"

"I.. well... HE'S NOT FOOD!" She shouts after.

"We don't want to eat him, we just want to nibble on him a little " Farhowl says

"We won't eat him!" Wind dance says and they swoop and chase deeper into the woods

An amused sigh.

Lupe grins "You're like their babysitter"

"Well... neighbor, right? There's lot of chimera here. There's a white deer that you can almost never see up close, and there's the crystal butterflies, and all kinds of crazy birds, and the singing flowers... like.. I feel like they're more animal than plant at that point, right? OH, there's the dryad, too!"

"And that weird purple tree in your garden"

"Yeah, that one's new..."

"You should see parts of the umbra, there are areas where it's like... you know, what if the Earth had NEVER had humans on it- no pollution.. nothing but wild. Everywhere"

"Wow...." Sigh.

"Y'know, humans can't go to the Dreaming.. but.. like.. you aren't human..."

"You ever wonder, like, if our spirit world and your spirit world are, like, neighbors?"

"I think they have to be, but the walls seem thick you know? And a picket fence too"
