"Hey, how go the art studies man? New cantrips?" Jimmy asks Adam

(Jimmy asks...?)

An occasional glance down at the pool from Symon - not ogling, but keeping an eye on both parties.

(Jimmy asked Adam) "I mean, I know you can willowhisper"

"Nah." Quietly. "Doing patrols and weapons training."

Dirk looks at Symon, "Any trouble?H He says in a low voice

A shake of his head, whispering back. "Boring. They're just playing pool games and playing shitty music."

Jonas says to Adam "I regret I haven't been here on patrols more myself, Adam. I apologize if I've left yo uand Dirk with most of the work"

"Nah, s'cool. Heard you were, like, deep in Mexico. So."

Jonas says "Essentially" he nods

Dirk tils his head to listen to the music below "Okay, you're not wrong about the music... it's like sell pop candy crap from forever ago"

A whisper over to Dirk. "Keep an eye out. I don't like having everyone in one place like this without anyone left on patrol. Maybe I'm just paranoid."

Jimmy says "it was pretty exciting, the raid Adam and I worked on togehter"

Zane blinks as if to say 'Jimmy was there?'

News to Adam....

Jimmy reminds everyone how crucial he was... otherwise that 5th Redcap would have warnedo thers

"Huh. Cool, thanks for that Bro." Adam salutes him with his beer.

And now everyone is wondering if it really happend that way or if Jimmy is pulling a fast one? Who can tell

Adam doesn't seem to see the harm in it, even if Jack is pulling a fast one.

A soft snort of amusement at the sport below. An eye roll.

Adam turns away from it, looking out over the rest of the roof.

"Not a bad idea" Zane says "Set up da hoop"

"On it, " Wudlig says.. and sets down a barrel with help, and he presses a stud

and out of it comes a basketball hope with an odd display

"Okay folks, "Zane says "good shots get you tickets, tickets allow you to buy a prize.. or beer. Beer is a prize"

Adam dutifully heads over, draining his beer to be ready to shoot.

Dirk lobs a ball and it goes in.. "Beat that" he's lucky it did go in actually.. too much muscle, not enough finese

Symon makes no move to join this activity, but hangs back and watches. At least it's different then being stuck at home, if not his chosen style.

Adam steps up at his turn, and bounces the ball back away from the hoop to get some space. He shoots.

"WOot" some guys cheer as the ball goes in smooth!

Tickets crank out

He takes them and drops back to let someone else try.

Tikki is in good shape

and makes some decent shots...

And then someone discovers trash talk gives you bonus tickets

Adam waits for his next turn, and is trying to make the effort. There's a little smile fixed on his face, and he finds banter from somewhere.

Zane trash talks teachers and lobs

Symon flicks his fingers, and the hoop is momentarily clouded by shadowy mists, as Zane takes his shot...

And suddenly the game changes as the hoop grows ..shadowy.. causing a mess

An inaudible snicker.

"oh dude!"

laughter breaks out and suddenly cantrips are on the menu

Adam takes his place, shoots.....

A fuddle - there is not one hoop, but three! Which does he aim for?

He aims for the one he knows to be true; the one he was hitting before he looked, the one he saw getting nothing but net.

And a small frown - he snaps his fingers as the ball sinks. But not truly upset, he looks amused.

Adam blinks the extra hoops out of the way and passes the ball to the next guy.

A different shadow creeps along the buffet table and steals a buffalo wing.

Jimmy throws the ball at the hoop only to have it make rated R moans

That makes Adam pause for a moment; a chorus of laughter and cheers from the pool below dispels the moment.
