"Yes, for the lodge."

"Oh that's just .. how did you get the paint to.. I mean it looks like if I touched it I could feel the bumps" A pause "Id' never touch it mind you"

"Well, I'm going to seal it when I'm done."

"So it can be, like, washed."

"Of course," She says then admits "Okay. I say 'of course' but I really don't know how it works. is it cool if I watch?"

There is a small basket by her side (Small by troll standards) that smells delicious

"If you want... I don't talk much when I'm painting."

"I can do the stoic thing if you want me quiet too." she offers "Or talk about anything you like. Oh, I brought snacks for you"

"Man, I smell them."

"Let me know when you want to take a break" She says with a smile

Sniff, sniff. "Well, it smells still warm..."

"Sure is," A knowing smile "Be a shame if it cools too fast"

"Right?"

She opens it up.

"We got chicken Parmesan slider bakes, and Korean style wontons" She says

"Ooo..."

"Yours?"

"Nope. Yours, but yes i made them" She admits with a pleased look "as you know I have great teachers though. Help yourself"

She daintily picks up a slider.

And less daintily, devours it.

A smile "You like?"

Oh, she's eating another one.

"Oh yeah. These are good."

"See, if I do a lot of flying, I am usually starving for days."

"Huh, that makes sense" She says thinking about it "IT's got to take energy, even iwht magic making it possible"

"Yeah. Balance is guilt-free donuts."

Wistful sigh "Kind of wish I had wings now. I mean, I can fly but still"

"Anyway," She says as Sparrow finishes another one "I think this is incredible work. Are you having FUN doing it?"

"Mostly."

"Ah, someone being a dick?" Frown

"Not.. really? It's hard to tell."

"Ah, well, that's another matter." A nod "Sometimes misunderstandings happen.. satyr or pooka?"

"Pooka."

"I think I insulted her? I didn't mean to."

"Oh yeah well... no telling with a pooka at time. I love Connor but he TRIES to be straight with me and I don't get it a third of the time"

"Well - I'm liam and sidhe, so I know I'm not always a welcome presence."

"Well, you're welcome here at Rivervale" she says "And I don't mind splashing anyone who gives you lip."

A shrug. "I just keep my head down."

"Well, have some tea and then I'll watch you work again. Maybe I'll talk you into slipping in something witchy." A wink

A gentle laugh. "Noted."

And they do, a bit of tea, a touch of talk, and then Gerd watches intentlly and seems to almost be whisked away along with the creator herself.
