Poetry is her jam, but well, she saw Hamilton on Disney plus.

And MIGHt be givihng her son a clue to come out into the daylight

Sparrow is working the hallways of the Apartments. HERE she is allowed a LOT more leeway

Mr. Dyer grins "I suppose if you put a few greek or roman flares the satyrs at least would like it"

"Well... you tell me how to keep the pooka happy, and I'll listen. I was planning on hiding a mongoose and raccoon..."

"Oh my son and daughter might be tickled by that"

"Thought so." She stands back and squints. She's in the middle of cartooning the stairwell - tracing out the design full-scale with a piece of charcoal taped to a broom handle.

"With the pool out back going, didn't know if you wanted oceeanic or the like"

"Well - I'm going more for Arcadia-and-Elysia..."

"Ooo sounds lovely, now can I get you some food while you work, drinks? Snacks? "

He seems eager to help, and while good intentioned the big bear like man might get underfoot if he doesnt' get SOMETHING to do

"Some water would be lovely, thank you."

"Bottled or glass? Ice or no?" A grin

"Um."

"I'll bring both!" He smiles and rushes off.

A soft sigh, and back to work.

The walls are a glorious big canvas, the stairwell's a one big winding opportunity.

Trees and sky and graceful columns... there, a hint of a dryad... below, a glimpse of satyr horn and hoof...

Oh how he longs to scamper up to join her no doubt.

And soon, a pitcher of ice water and a glass, and also a bottled water both are set down

"THanks, Mr. Dyer.."

"You're welcome, Sparrow." A grin and.. yup. he's WATCHING her work now.

She tries to ignore it, be casual.

The big bearlike man watches for a bit, then starts to chatter "Great weather isn't it? I mean, I know you're Inside but still"

Then he talks about family.. and folk.

Which can be informative.

But.. he's a bit distracting

Sparrow murmurs distracted agreement, letting him go on.

"still,, if they're in love who am I to say... lovely little snake girl..."

"and I think a frosty can BE Vanilla..."

"It's why I stay away from Turkish bathhouses"

and so on

Resigned.

"Dad," A voice says "My hair is on fire. "It's a racoon pooka girl

He nods as if understanding "pardon me, pardon me.. need to tend this" And he rushes off

Relief!

The raccoon pooka smirks and looks at her "Dad's all right, but sometimes he latches"

She speeds up with the respite, drawing a bit more freely.

The pooka girl nods "No charge for pest control" Then waves "Have fun smoke em if you need me"

"It's.. common. Kith thing."

"Got something against commonerS? "BROOOOWWW

"What? No!"

"Just... mortals, even kinain..." She blushes behind her freckles.

The brow raises "So now my dad's a pervert huh? Wow, you try to..." then she breaks out laughing "The look on your mug. Okay, you're too easy a target NOT to nuke. Yeah, I know about the Fall line of sidhe. "

Sparrow, still flushed, looks down and away. She focuses on attaching a new piece of charcoal to the stick.

"I'm called Rikki but my real name is 'Didn't I see you as an extra in mean girls?'"

"Oh." Softly, without tone.

"Being a bitch, I do things like torment folks who might crash in on artists that are going to put up images of me riding a minotaur or something" A gentle shrug "So if you need a distraction to stop interaction, I'm not easy but I'm cheap"
