Gerd looks thoughtful "I thought iwas going to close out"

"I didn't like how flickery the chief got at the end." A scowl, voice low. "She's like Ann Marie, only more stubborn."

"The portal, I kept it up during the fight, then set up another... long as I didn't go through... but after awhile it got draining"

"Yeah... shit, that had to be exhausting. I had it easy, really."

"Dagmar smash, right?"

"Right, you were on gatekeeper. I wouldn't mind learning that tidbit myself." Admiring. "Though I'd rather find a treasure-chalk then put in the work past hopping and running, those aren't my style."

"Truculent is what it is" Gerd says

"I should get going, though. Gerd, y'mind giving me a sec to talk to Dagmar? Nothing personal, just Thor/Loki stuff."

"Watch this" Gerd claps one two two three two one... and BOOM gone

He startles, and there is an indistinct, and luckily purely verbal, curse.

"That wasn't being scared. It was startling and that doesn't COUNT." He points out to Dagmar.

"SHe likes showing off."

A glance around to make sure that no sneaky puppies or anyone has shown up, then sidles over to Dagmar so he can whisper more freely. "I wanted to apologize to you." A small grimace.

"Apologize?"

"Yeah." An uncomfortable fidget.

"For what?"

"When we first were planning the raid, with the Chieftain. And I reported back all the fresh intel - we reported back." He adjusts, including Eden. "I told you that someone should kill the Balor bitch. But I didn't really say that. I just... pushed. That someone could. And someone should. And I meant you. And that wasn't fuckin' fair of me to put that on you, even if you weren't planning on acting on it. Or didn't take it that way. It's dark shit, and... it's been bugging me, and I'm... " He shrugs a bit. "I'm sorry. It wasn't cool."
