She does hit the pell again, knuckles and wood both busting.

"Is this your anger? Again!"

She whirls on the Chieftain, glaring.

Brekke sees the look...and steps right up to her. "SHOW YOUR ANGER," she bellows in the girl's face.

"BACK OFF!" She shoves.

It's like shoving a wall. "DO IT!"

"NOW!"

"NO!" Another shove, trying to force Brekke back.

"Then you have been whining about NOTHING? You have no anger at Adam in truth? You have LIED ABOUT THIS?"

A bellow, and she rears an arm back to sock Brekke in the jaw with her bloodied knuckles.

"STOP!!" Adam cries.

A clip to the jaw, and Brekke did nothing to block it.

She growls, and follows the first with a second.

This one lands with a solid thunk against Brekke's gut.

"BE SILENT!" Brekke commands Adam again, and then she gets hit more solidly. That one's going to leave a bruise. But still, she doesn't back down.

A snarl of her own, wolf teeth showing. "Is that ALL your pain? Is that ALL the hurt you feel from him?" She straightens, challenging.

"I didn't LIE!" Her attacks are not refined - blunt blows to get the grump to BACK OFF.

"PROVE IT!" she orders before getting hit again.

A grunt as the hit lands. "I do not yet believe you!"

"Shut up! You don't know anything!"

Another blow to the jaw!

That time there's a clear, solid CRACK!

...and Brekke staggers back a few steps.

Dagmar pulls back, eyes wide.

Adam dashes forward.

Brekke has one hand to her jaw, one hand held palm out to Dagmar, a hold gesture.

A few deep breaths, and a gathering of glamour....

She's breathing hard, holding... oh, she's angry, but she's not lost control.

After a moment, she shifts her jaw, testing it, then nods...and gives Adam a stern look. "You see now?"

His eyes glisten in the dark. "YES! I GOT IT!"

Frank emerges from the Lodge. Walking.

"NO, I do not think you do." Brekke is scowling. "You say you tried to do the right thing. You Did Not. You tried to make her responsible for the decision, so you would have no blame in it. She has taken that and turned all this..." she indicates the fighting "...in on herself."

"THAT WASN'T WHAT I DID!" Adam bellows. "NOT ALL THE WAY!"

Dagmar makes a frustrated noise.

"Then own the part of the way that did this to her!"

"HOW!?!? HOW DO I DO IT?? I APOLOGIZED, I SAID I WAS SORRY, I SAID I WANT TO FIX IT!!! FINE!!! YOU WANT TO KILL ME??? DO IT!!!" And he launches himself at Dagmar.

Brekke reaches to restrain Adam.

Dagmar chokes, and brings up her arms to bar him.

Barring him from advancing with one massive arm.

"BE STILL."

"You said one thing after another," Brekke grumbles with angry impatience. "Have you asked her how to fix it? Have you asked her what would make it right?"

"I TRIED!!!"

Dagmar turns, and RIPS the pell, concrete footing and all, out from the ground before hurling it away. "I don't want to kill or hurt you!"

"You think, if I wanted, I couldn't?"

"SAY THE WORDS NOW, ADAM." Brekke is tempted to shake him. "In this entire time, I have not heard you ask her."

A firm nod, confirming Dagmar's gesture.

"HOW DO I FIX IT???"

And yes, he struggles in the Chief's grasp.

And Brekke releases him, probably quickly enough that he might fall to the ground.
