"No, Siv, I just got the package." dryly.

"You learn how to say it properly, whisper it in her ear, and she'll love it dad. I know you don't want me messing in your guys love life, but as a Fiona in training I just have to suggest. We Fiona are experts on love, you know?" Arch brow "Give advice and all"

Frank clears his throat. "Thank you, Siv." politely.

"You're welcome" She seems pleased with herself "And, on the less intrusive note, if you and I both learn it fluently, the three of us can chatter away in public with no one else the wiser." A beat "Because I know what a chatter box you and mom are"

Grunt.

Perhaps pointedly.

She actually laughs, seeing the humor in it

"Oh but who to go on about?" She starts to relate things about Coradel, and August, and Vince, and Shalimar, and others... and admits "And Sir Sergei is handing out these fae hounds. I KNEW hit our max so don't tell Dagmar, but I didn't put us on the list here. Jessica though has one" Pleased

"I am sure she will appreciate it."

"That was thoughtful of you."

"Well, Jessica needs companionship that...well, not sure how to say this, she can open up to?"

"Mm. She told you this?"

"Nope. It's me butting in again. but they say it's lonely at the top and she just got to the top of a whole city"

"Right. I don't know.. Here's the thing. If Jessica decided to oath Duff, marry him, and take out a second mortgae, she probalby wouldn't want to 'trouble us' " (quote marks) "about it."

"She would tell us. When she was ready." A few more steps. "Is that something she's talked about doing?"

"Noh dad, and she would tell you before telling me I'm sure" And she means it "I do suspect Sister loves me but finds me intrusive and thinks I need to learn boundaries. The nerve, right?"

Frank cuts his eyes towards his youngest daughter.

"Yeah yeah, okay.. so she's got me pegged there" An admission

Frank rumbles agreement.

"Still I wouldn't enjoy it so much if it didn't vex her so much." She admits

They walk a bit and then Frank says "You do have an inclination to .... tease others."

"Yeah. I'll work on it" she says "I mean it well but I really need to moderate it I know"

A shrug. "Not everyone finds it as charming as we do."

"Or tolerates it even when you don't find it charming like you do. Thanks for putting up on me, but aye. You're right."

"As long as you are aware of the tendency, and consider the wisdom of what you do."

"I am now, and will" she nods

A grunt.

"Da, uhm... " Ahem... "this is going to sound... stupid," A blush "But apparently Fiona are encouraged to create beauty of one sort or another. When they found out I learned how to sing... they wanted me to polish it, keep in practice, and use it as a 'gift' to a loved one. Do.. do you think Mom would.." A BLUSH "Ah it's silly"

"Your mother would what?"

"Well, you know the Rivervale song I learned to help me remember... If I were able to translate that to Norweigan, do you think mom would want a tape or midi file or somewhat of me singing it?" BLUSHING "I mean, would she see it as a gift worth having? "

"Yes, she would. Without question."

A pleased look then "And.. do you have a favorite Trucker song you'd like on the same sample?"

Frank puffs amusement.

"Not a trucker song....." he considers.

"Well, got one you'd like me to take a crack at?"

"You know the one. Our song."

"You sure? Nothing new or.. well that I haven't done?"

Frank nods. "Our song."

"More accurately -your- song, but I will take credit as the author." He agrees.

"I can't believe you brainwashed me at a young age with that one"

"I only sang the truth I found." Stolidly.

"I can't decide if it was a coping mechanism so I should feel sympathy for you or some dad joke several years in the making and I should be groaning" A sigh

"It could be both."

"Probably is" She bumps him, "Fine. Mom gets that song in Norweigan, and you get 'Our song' in...English I suppose as you probably want to understand it. Gah"

And the two walk on
