When Dagmar gets back to the house, Jaymes is settling in front of the TV

"Hey..." She claims Her Spot. "What's on?"

"Not sure," He admits, "Just started to flip channels"

"Okay." She draws up a knee to rest her chin on. "Tove home?"

"Yup. She won't let me in the kitchen" a shrug of what can you do?

Jaymes is still baffled how bit by bit, certain sections of his house have become increasingly restricted to his every day access in small ways

"Oh, you can go in, just not right now. I'll check on her." Meant to be reassuring.

"Mmm" Nod (Thanks)

She bops up and pokes into the kitchen. "Tove?"

Tove is cooking some of her husband's favorite food...she turns as if ready to confront the spy, then sees it's her daughter and not her husband, and she motions "Come in come in"

"Can I help?"

"Sure, not much to spicing though.. your father has such mild tastes in food" A tisk grunt (But no one is perfect)

"Well, he likes herbish things, just not hot ones."

"mm tell you what, you pick which herbs..." She offers "He'll like it I bet."

She fusses at the spice rack.

Her mother helps and might make a FEW comments on which herbs blend well but not too hotly, but she won't TELL her what to choose.

"how are things at the lodge?" She asks "Frank's fully recovered I hear"

"Um..."

"Something is going on."

"I'm not - like. not my business, right?"

She sniffs a jar. Oregano.

"Oh dear. Not sure, honey, they're family, that kind of makes it our business"

"But sometimes you have to have the right timing" she says

"Yeah, it was a bad time."

She nods understanding "What did you see?" Tove asks as she works on the food

"Oh, thyme."

"oh, punny, and good choice"

"Siv and Chief talking..."

She passes over some rosemary.

"Oh my. And the way you're saying 'talking ' makes me think the tone was not happy" She applies gently as it is handed

"Yeah. Siv looked upset."

"Im sorry to hear it. Siv's a sweet girl, rash at times, but sweet. And lord knows she usually is down with questing on a whim"

She stops "Is the phrase 'down with' making me sound old?"

"Nah."

"I mean, she rescued the truck..."

"She did?" This she had not heard. "Didn't know she could drive it, but I guess she's been with her dad often enough to have the basics."

"They did this video game thing?"

"SOmething for everything in videogames now I guess. I've been really tempted to get that Juke Box Hero game..."

"Ohhh, sure! We have the console..."

"Since we're stuck at home so much, we could sing. Maybe Dad would sing?"

"Your father sings very rarely" She says "I've only heard it a few times"

"Yeah, but it'd just be us..."

"We might coax him, yes, but he's kind of shy about it is what I'm saying"

"Well, I don't sing that much, but I'd do it if you wanted to play the game."

"I think that might be nice, yes... mmm" Rosemary mixed in

She sniffs the pot. "Lemon?"

"Bit already in..you think it needs more? "
