"What'll happen to the Dreamer that made hat jack-in-the-box chimera?"

"Well. I think it varies, but the Escheat protects the right to Dream, and so to some degree, this dreamer should be let be. However, most lords would want to put a stop to the danger... but we're in luck."

"How so?"

"Because we have a Liam. I know it's odd to say, but nobody knows mortal dreamers better or coaxes them better."

"So she'd be safe?"

"if some dreamer is in trouble and making nightmares, he'll help. He and Carawyn... either way likely help muse them to nicer dreams. I mean, any changeling can muse... but they'll find her.." A tilt of her head "If it is a her. You think it's a girl?"

The 'they'd' not being what caught her attention

"Um." Lip bite.

Tove puts her hand out to touch Dagmar's "Dagmar, do you think you know who the dreamer is?"

"Maybe?"

"I don't know, not for certain..."

"We don't want to jump to conclusions, but it can't hurt to check on a hunch. Who is she you think?"

She chews on her thumb.

Tove says "it's okay, Dagmar. If you have an idea who it is, it helps us, and the dreamer too. Better us than some visiting changeling finding out about her mm?"

"....I think it might be May."

"May?" Then realization "May.. yes, she's always had a purity to.. oh my." Tove nods "I see. May is your friend. she's like part of your non fae motley"

"Miss Horowitz gave a pop quiz the other day AND she's, like, a total c-..bitch.."

"A pop quiz with..that makes so much sense. What a great metaphor for.well, nightmarish true, but still.. I'm impressed" Then "Okay. I can help. You ready?"

Nod-nod, lip bitten again.

"You know she would never hurt anyone on purpose."

"I know. She's a gentle soul, very sweet. It's hard not to like her. " She says "And that's good, because it makes my advice easier to do. You need to muse her. Direct her dreaming so the energy flows towards happier paths. Think of it as being her guide. Now, I have mused some, and I will teach you some tips. Okay?"

"I.. I mean, I've tried?"

"Like, to get her hopeful about things, or confident.."

"What's she been dreaming of mostly? Not monsters or we'd have more of them."

"Being extraordinary."

"Which... she is, but she doesn't see it."

"And boys... well.. " A shrug.

"I can help" she offers "Invite her over to study some."

"And you and I can muse her together"

"Yeah?"

"Of course," She says "You know her better tahn I, I know musing better than you..together, we can have her keep making the wonders she's wanting to dream of... and less of the things that are negative. Musing involves finding your niche, inspiring hope, fostering trust... every kithain has one that's an easier threshold. We'll learn yours, and who knows? Maybe you'll get her to dream of horses" A smile

"He is" She agrees "Notice he did not suggest getting her to dream of puppies."

Odin doesnt' even Dignify THAT silly idea with a response

"Well, really..."

"The important thing is never to force, dreamers are like streams.. you can guide a stream, a bit... but blocking it up or drinking it dry is never wise. So we'll learn. Now. ..do you think we should tell the Mountain and others now, or wait until we get a good look and chance at musing her and then make our report when we can tell more about her style and such?"

"Can we wait?"

"Option number two then" She nods

"Just.. she's my friend."

"Of course," She says "And you're my daughter. That means I'll fight for her anyway I can because she matters to you. I like May for her own sake, wonderful girl, but I LOVE You, and so I feel double protective of her because she means os much to you. I will help you help her"

And Tove enjoys that happy to be leaned on, and she strokes Odin as he insists on both women petting him now.

Clearly Tove has earned a great boon to be included.

"Greedy gus," She strokes "Now Odin, when we have May over, you cannot be the star attraction."
