But he gets to cleaning up to help his cousin

She exchanges a worried look with Zane. "I mean, this could be good... right?" Unconvinced.

Adam finds his patrol going easy enough, uneventful, and easy. But which way to split? Do the social path among the houses and neighborhoods, or skirt it and take the woods?

He keeps to the social path; more his style, anyway, and recent issues have been with people not animals.

He walks by the Ironhawk house first, but if Dagmar is in, there's no sign.

He -does- look.... but not intrusively. As long as things seem calm, he moves on.

All seems good. He keeps going along. And circles about . It seems pretty eeasy going, there's a family of boggans pooka, he doesn't know them that well. There's a pretty hot beaver pooka, but she's about 5 years older and wouldn't really notice him.

Adam gives her his best smile, just in case.

The buck toothed girl rolls her eyes but smiles just a little

"Everything ok here?" He asks.

"Well, there's a dragon shortage" She says "You got one?"

Adam saunters over.

"Do I have one draggin'?" A cocky grin.

She rolls her eyes even more this time, "It's like Vali Junior in here"

"Who's outside?" A voice calls out. Dad possibly.

"Aw, c'mon, I'm not -that- big." Faux-bashful.....

"Just a patrol from Streamditch, dad." She says

"Ask whoever it is if we're going to be getting a contract for that clearing already? "

"He's a peon first class, dad, not fair" She calls back

Adam good-naturedly doesn't understand a word of it, but a smile is never amiss.

"Oh. Well... fine, but this place is itching for new construction and better us than mundane folk doing it is all I'm saying"

"Do you have a message I can take to the Chief for you?" Helpful!

"You're terrible," She holds up a finger, "Hold up a century?"

"Sure thing."

And she vanishes for a moment, about five minutes later, she comes back with a chimerical scroll with a tie on it, and a soda for him. "Thanks, you're a blight upon the land" She smiles

"No, I'm Adam Thomas." He smiles and offers his hand.

She shakes it "I'm Bucky. Nailer of hammers"

"Lucky hammers." Adam observes.

She chuckles. "If only you were 100 years older. Appreciate you dropping that off to El Capatain."

"Well that's the thing, I'm going to -get- older, right?" He tips her a wink.

"Mmm in this line of work? Fifty fifty" And she closes the door between them "Bye"

A sigh, grinning, and off he goes again.

On patrol.

At this point he notices something odd... Jimmy, running for his life. Behind him, a three headed chimerical tigress charges.

Adam, for just a second, considers watching..... but then jumps in to run to attack as he draws his..... stick.

"FAKE!" One Tigress head snarls! "Liar!" Snaps the other "J'Accuse!" as they go on

Adam mutters an accusation about the sexual relationship between Jimmy and his mother as he dashes forward. "HEY! HERE!! IT WAS ME!!!!"

"You told me to tell them!" Jimmy says

"THREE WEEKS A..... THEM!?!?!?!"

"NOT HIM, ME! I TOLD HIM TO DO IT!!!!"

"I blame honesty!" Jimmy says as he hides behind Adam.

Adam squares off, putting the little pixie behind him.

"OK, OK.... YOU WANT TO DO THIS??? IT WAS ME, I MADE UP THE STORY, OK???"

"Men!" "Scumwads!" "But we repeat ourselves" And the tiger claws at Adam, but is definitely trying to get past him to get to Jimmy

Adam blocks as best he can. "You're angry, and you're right! I'm sorry!"

"I don't want to stab them while they have girl voices, is that weird?" Jimmy says, dodging a bite as Adam blocks the claw
