"Actually, if you want to take over this one and cheese and pepper it to your specifications, I get to switch work and you get custom made..."

"Mmmm...." She says and uses fingertips to snatch a bit of egg from the pan, then shakes her hand to cool the fingers. No regrets! And, she starts to cheese 'em up, adding plenty of the solid moo despite her earlier commentary.

Zane comes down sniffing "Uhm...ah, I can't help but notice..."

"Got your favorite right here," His mother says "Bacon on this one."

"YUS!" Zane says, then coughs "I mean, thank you, mom"

"Enjoy your stinky pig eggs." She comments, with a grin. "Oh, I'm joking. Bacon still SMELLS delicious."

"Mm it soooo does.. tasty tasty infidel meat" He smiles

"What?" A laugh from his mom

"Sorry, dating Maya.. so middle eastern girl"

Piper rolls her eyes and hits her omelette with a double-shot of fresh ground pepper. "Oh, got any hot sauce?"

"Right here," Marsha says and hands it over.

"Geez why don't you set it on fire already" Zane says alarmed

A grin as she splashes liberally. "I like my eggs screamin!"

"Bit hot for me as well, but you're welcome to it" Marsha smiles "You'd probably love Tove's cooking. "

"I already love Tove's playing. Better watch out or she'll be in the running to challenge you for position of honorary favorite aunt.... kidding!" Taking a bite of the omelette and huffing lightly at the heat. "Oooh, that's good. " Her eyes water slightly - maybe she overdid it a bit. "Pride goeth before a (pant, pant) fall!"

"Ouch" The woman faux clutches at her heart, then she smiles a bit at the sauce backlash and grabs some milk quickly for her

"I'm so putting this up on my Tweeter account" Zane starts to record Piper 's choking

"Do you WANT for hot sauce to find it into your "hand" lotion?" She asks with a wicked grin, grabbing a napkin to wipe her face.

"HEEEEY" He clicks it off

She tightens the lid back on, and takes another bite of omelette, followed by milk. "Definitely my favorite Auntie."

"Mm for now" Marsha smiles though "How is Adam treating you, Piper? "

"Mom, Adam's a good guy"

"He's super nice. I have to be quick on the draw though, or he won't let me pay for anything - which is a little peeving when it's something that was my idea. I gotta start ordering movie tix online so I can pay in advance." A sip of milk, and she taps a hoof contemplatively. "He's... am I gonna sound like a heel if I say this? Zane, you can't blab... but... almost, is too nice a thing?"

"You're kidding," Zane says

"Zaaaanee..." Marsha says, then looks at Piper "Sometimes it feels like it. But there are levels . Every woman has her own standards on how forceful she'd like a man to be and in what situations. And the illusion of dangerous is kind of tantalizying, even if the real thing is terrifying"

"See, I knew you'd get it. And it's not just, y'know, during fun-times. Being doted on is lovely, for a while... but it can be a little... hm. Tiring? Like - don't get me wrong, I like having my way! But if you tell me there's something else you'd rather do, hey, I might realize I like something new. Or it might suck! But it's interesting..." And she nabs a bite, and points the fork at Zane. "And this isn't even a complaint, really. Just... you know. It's still a NEW relationship, anyways. Who knows, things might switch up a bit."

"Part of it might be Dagmar," Zane says "I think the break up was as much his idea as hers, but.. he feels like he lost her friendship, and maybe he doesnt' want that to happen with you so he's taking it easy? He's also just..well, I know it's weird, "Zane says "But he's ...he's the classy type? Maybe the sidhe blood in him. He wants to be the prince, the hero, and.. well, he IS a hero so half way there. But it might switch up." Satyrs are more more open about discussions like this, "Honestly, when he found out I was dating Maya, he was very proteective and like 'go easy ' etc. WHich was a little annoying but I know he means well." A sigh "I think it's a good thing he doesn't know how wild it can get at Wayburton parties when we have guests over."

"Oh... do they still have bad blood over that?" She winces a bit. "I didn't know they were dating until after they broke up, and I kinda feel bad for flirting with him when he was with her. She's... not cold or anything, or rude, but I kinda don't really get the feeling she likes me around. I get it though. I can give her space." She eyes the hot sauce again, but then decides to stick with what she has rather than risk another Tweeter-worthy moment. "I'm glad he's kinain - it's a lot different from dating a mortal - but I'm honestly glad he's not full-blooded. A touch of sidhe can be attractive. But I don't want any more than that - when he got his voile it was almost like seeing him as a new person." A quick shiver.

"Oh, no offense Zane." She adds, quickly, and honestly. "It's not a social commentary - really. Just personal prefrence.

"Dagmar's a good girl, she's just had a hard life," Marsha says "And it's amazing how far she's come thanks to her adopted parents. "Try talking to her when Adam's not around. She might be less.. pained?" A suggestion

"Wow, okay, blows my mind, I thought Nadeen was... sorry, when sidhe light up it's electric, but to each their own. " Zane says "I think he wishes he were full sidhe. You may have to expalin to him how you like things more free wheeling and not too courtly? But then, I don't know, if he's not talking about what HE likes, ..." A snap of his fingers "Nab! You should ask nab"

"Oh!" A grin to Zane. "Now that's an idea... heyy... maybe he'd even go on a date with her as his co-pilot. She might help him loosen up a bit." And she nods to Marsha. "That's a good idea. She'd mentioned archery once... maybe that's still a thing we can look into? I mean, Trolls don't necessarily NEED it, they can handle up-close-and-personal. But one good whack and I'm out of the game, so if it ever comes to it, I'd like a long-range-punch."

"And yeah... it's electric - but if they decide they're not HAPPY? You're gonna get electrocuted. And I don't like it when they get all up on their dignity. Not sure if Nadeen ever did, and Adam hasn't that I've seen... but sooner or later, a sidhe's gonna pull rank. It's like, their nature."

"I mean, Nab could tell you about his..well, what revs him but sure"

Then a thought "Weah, but I ddidn't always mind it when she pulled rank." A thought "I mean, I'm not ready for whip cracks yet..." A thought 'No, not yet, but nothing wrong with a strong woman."

Marsha shakes her head, "Like I said, everyone has their thing, Zane. Why Adam's mother and that maid outfit was a fun time what little I remember of that samhain, of course, that was before she was a satyress. Maybe the Dreamihng noticed ? " Mrs. Wayburton looks amused by that notion, "And you're welcome, Piper. I think they have practice archery materials at the lodge"

"Oooh, I can imagine Mrs. Thomas in that.... can't you, Zane?" She says, with a tiny grin.

"I don't have to," A cough "Don't tell Adam, he'd kill me"

"I'll just file that away...." She makes a key-locking gesture at the side of her head. "And, done."

Marsha chuckles, "Not like much beyond oggling happened there that I recall, not with Zane."

"Mom, it was Samhain, let me imagine I had a harem okay? It COULD have happened" Zane insists

She chuckles as she finishes off her omelette. "What happens on Satyrday, stays on Satyrday."

"Or your uncle would be fired for what he does with coeds" Marsha nods

"Rough to be a goat in troll town," Zane says "The strict blue streets have little pity, and a hoof stepped wrong can land in a pile of duty"

"Well, with Mrs. Thomas on our side, we've got a close 2nd in Kith Count, I think..."

"My goodness, you do" Marsha says pleased, "We might have a trago forming"

Plate goes into the dishwasher, and she helps tidy up the kitchen. A thoughtful cant of her head. "So we might! Too bad there's not a few more wilders... no offense, of course, to the young at heart."

"You never know," Marsha says "mmm" An idea in her head. "you two have fun tidying up the kitch. I have to go ... meddle."
