After a few songs, Piper stops for a breather. She's got Satyr stamina, but Adam might also need to catch his breath. "Want to grab a drink?" She asks, looking slightly mussed, lightly sweaty, but her head cleared from whatever unpleasantness was bothering her for a moment.

"Yeah! Yeah...." he holds her hand as they head for the beverages. Adam glances over to check on Zane.

"That's not totally fair, Gerd...." But then Colton's there, and Sylvi eagerly reaches out to take his hand. "Hi," she says with a smile.

Colton takes her hand "Everything okay?" His turn to ask

Zane has Maya eating out of his hands though the satyr did cast a worried look towards Spencer for a moment.

"I'm okay," she says with a half-smile. Possibly diplomatic phrasing, but then she adds, "Would love to dance more, though."

"Gimme a sec? Gonna check in with the chickies." She smile to Adam, and grabs a soda before moving over to Gerd and Sylvi. "Hey, you were looking good out there with the songbird." To Sylvi. "Can you introduce me later?"

"I...um..." Sylvi's holding Colton's hand and aiming at the dance floor again when Piper asks. "Sure? I think, yeah." A dubious glance at Adam. "If you're sure."

Adam grabs a water and sucks it down, then grins at Zane.

"Yeah, he sounds amazing!" And a glance to Gerd, grinning. "You having fun yet, despite yourself?"

Zane toasts Adam with a soda can

Gerd snorts "As I told Sylvi, if I confess to that it will just enable the lot of you" but she smiles

She laughs! "Well, you're kinda goth - and isn't it like, a thing that you have to be miserable to be happy? So I won't tell anyone if you have a good time." Lightly teasing, but grinning.

"Maybe...it might be better if Gerd introduces you to Spence. Spencer," she restates. "Gerd, would you be willing?" Please?

"Another dance, Colton?" A hopeful smile.

"Oh. Ohhh." Not a boggan, but she can pick up on some of the more obvious. A glance to Colton, and she nods to Gerd. "Or I can introduce myself, I'm a grown-ass goat after all."

Gerd nods "Of course" She shakes her head "Come on, Piper. I don't mind at all and the DeBukes know me. "

"Oh, he's a DeBuke!" She grins at an inner thought. "I -like- DeBukes."

Colton takes Sylvi's hand "I would love to dance with you again..and again and again. Come on"

A smile as Colton leads her back into the dancing.

Gerd says "They're okay, but they have this chicken, who is a sworn nemesis" And she relates the tail of the alarm rooster they have which she met two years ago, "One day I'm going to eat that bird" As she leads the satyress towards Spencer.

Spencer is in full blown sulk and outside the building actually. Possibly screwing up the will to just leave.

A brief hesitation at the storm brewing on his expression, but then she steps up and gives a smile up at him - having mastered the art of cricking up her next to make eye contact since moving to Trollville, USA. "Hey there! That was some amazing singing inside. I'm Piper." And offers a hand out.

The dark cloud dims, mostly because of surprise "Oh, .. uhm.. hello" he shakes the hand, his own dwarving hers.

Gerd smiles "PIper is new, from Cali, but don't hold that against her. She's okay. Zane's cousin."

"Oh" At the mention of Zane he smiles a bit "yeah, Zane's a good guy"

"He's not bad, but I got all the talent in the family." She winks. "What're you doing out here? I know you folk are Nordic, but it's officially cold. as. balls. out here."

Sylvi does her level best to drown out the echoes of the last five minutes by throwing herself into the dancing, calling for more when the music fades from one tune to another.

"She's right" Gerd says seeing introductions are made, "I'm getting my blue ass inside. " A look to Piper to let her know it's all on her from here and she slips in.

Spencer gives a weak smile at the cold as balls thing "Guess I'm used to it. You sing? "

Colton actually even picks her up to let her do the dirty dancing iron cross at one point, letting her show off!

"I dabble a bit. I'm pretty good I like to think, though I got nothing on you." Admiration clear in her tone. "I play mostly - strings, keys, a touch of woodwinds though I prefer to keep my own pipes clear for accompaniment."

A surprised giggle almost topples both of them, but she manages to regain control until he lowers her again.

"Better?" Colton whispers in her ear

Spencer blushes just a bit, he's used to compliments but still can be touched by them, "Zane's okay on the guitar, and hey, some of the real heroes of the best bands are the instrumentalists. The lead singer gets the lime light, but that light wouldn't be there without the sound. I'd love to hear you some time..thoug hI'm not good company right now. Sorry. "

"Better," she whispers back, though there's still some disturbance behind the smile. Then she claims a kiss as he holds her close.

"That's a shame. I was hoping maybe we could do a duet. You sure you don't have another song in you? It's a shame to see a bluebird out in the cold when it should be singing."

"The bluebird just had his heart ripped out by a perfectly nice girl, and then made a selfish immature ass of himself" Spencer admits

Colton claims the kiss, but then says "Let's find a corner and talk?"

"Oh, hun. Come here." And she reaching over to give him an impulsive hug. "That sucks, and don't I know it. Goats know what it feels like to hurt hard." Nothing pressing or insinuating, just offering comfort. "I don't want to push you, then, if you need time."

Sylvi looks extremely uncomfortable about the notion of this 'talk' but nods. "Okay."

Spencer takes the hug then, "Gee, now I really feel like an asshole. I always thought satyrs, well... they got all bent out and then they were fine. I mean, Zane can have a temper, then next minute he's apologizing and then next minute he's all smiles. It's..confusing"

Colton pulls her aside and says softly "He made a play, and you turned him down, is that about it?"

She snorts and waves it off. "Well, don't! I don't know if you said or did something assholey - but you shoulkd never feel like a jerk for how you feel. If you stop feeling things, you might as well be in the ground, right?" She shivers a bit - definitely not dressed for the weather.

"Kind of," Sylvi nods.

She looks around and sighs, "I want a drink."

Colton says "Thank you." WHich may surprise her, for it's heart felt

Spencer says "I'm a troll, and a DeBuke troll. We're supposed to be all stoic and ball it up inside and never let it out, except maybe in song. Maybe that's why I took up singing." He frowns at her shiver and takes his jacket off, "here"

Adam has Zane join him, "Hey, Adam, where'd Piper go?"
