Zane catches on a fw things, glances over at Nab who looks VERY Interested

"Yeah? Like what?"

"Like it, if his offer was legit, that all those changes could be real, well, first of all, it's got a dark side, but the point is, somewhere in the dreaming, by art or treasure or I don't know, there might be a way to turn mortals into changelings while letting the mortals not lose their core selves..that's..legendary magic. It makes Speaker look like a squeeky toy."

"Isn't it, like, anything possible exists in the Dreaming somewhere?"

"You think Nadeen's father found this thingwhatever?"

"In theory, but the problem is..when it comes into the autumn world, such stuff hits banality and ends up being temproary or what not"

"And if he did, no wonder Nadeen is always talking about how brilliant he is"

"He tried to use me, but I wouldn't hurt Lily, and he said there were other ways......"

"It would make sense to try the easiest way first, right?"

"Or he'll ask other sidhe bloods, but you're the one I know best" He says

"If he can't just bodyjack you, but wants all this power with him... then..." Zane says "Darn, not sure, but this is kind of creepy cool"

"What?"

"Yeah, he said he needed a -gate- to get through with all his power."

"Sorry man, for fae, the idea of finding a way to bring back a time of legends is like ..a holy grail"

"It's the big prize. A gate.. huh" Zane ponders this

"Yeah, no, I can see that."

Adam frowns. "Hey."

"Hey?"

"Do you think..... maybe the reason he hasn't, like, appeared here yet is -because- he wants to arrive with his power and he doesn't have a big enough gate? Like.... he's refusing to come till he does? Can you do that?"

"I think that sounds like exactly what he's doing.. no offense dude, if he just wanted to be here, IF he had that much control of location area? He could have just taken one of you and kicked your mortal soul out and enjoyed his brand new body"

"You see, for what he seems to be wanting to do, a ritual, perhaps some lost art that only works in the Deep Dreaming, would be the only way to even maybe make it happen"

"I remember feeling like he was -pissed-."

"Let's hope he's too busy on returning for Revenge then" Zane says as they pull up to his house

Adam agrees, and they all head inside. "Lily, you know to keep all this quiet, right?"

Lily nods "I don't think they'd believe me but... I understand. Miss Prim says it's important" She looks up at Zane, "Like your horns though."

"So do I, thanks" He says "But shhh"

As they go in, Lily heads upstairs, but a voice says "Adam, is that you?" His mom

"Go on up with Lily." Adam murmurs to Zane and turns to intercept. "Yeah mom?"

"Well, wondered if you were hungry or anything" she says

"No, thanks, no right now. We're good."

His mother bounces a bit on her heels, "Okay." Her hair.. is longer..and.. those little crinkles about her eyes she'd been getting look, less

"LEt me know if you two change your mind"

"Will do, thanks." He grins and heads upstairs.

His mom looks.. younger? It's not just one inch on Nab

Zane is talking to Nab btw, and Lily, back into her room talking to Miss Prim

"Hey Zane....." Adam fills him in on the change in his mother. ".... and I haven't seen dad but I'll bet anything he's different too."

"Dude, I got news for you, things are a lot different in ltitle ways. Nab, tell him about his bed"

Nab grins "It's bigger, and the blankets... red and silver"

Adam blinks, and goes to look.

"Should we let Siv know? I mean, about these changes? They didn't go away with the rest of it."

"We should definitely let Siv know. I'll text her. These are PHYSICAL Changes. If your mom is even a few months younger, even if it slowly undoes, that's a major thing. "

And sure enough, his bed is a few inches wider

"Yeah, this is bigger, and I've never had sheets like this before, and mom looks like she's had work done."

"Bet your dad is taller too," Nab says

"Hang on here for a minute. I'm going to see if I can find him, take a look. I'll be right back."

He hustles out and sneaks around, looking for his dad.

"I'll ken around for glamour and text" Zaen nods

His dad is in the garage. He MIGHT be taller.
