"Hey, I didn't, like, mess things up, did I?" Worried "My folks were.... they saw stuff. And Lily...."

"Sounds like someone Messed YOU up," Zane says "YOur mom was looking good though.. sorry I mean she sdeemed.. I don't know.. a bit different?"

Nab says "But that doesn't make sense. YOu can't just TURN Someone into a changeling"

"Maybe it was a dream? Zane, isn't there an art where you can mess with Dreams?"

"It felt like a dream, yeah, but.... but I think parts of it were real. I think?"

"Nab doesn't remember what happened." Sadly.

"But Lily does?"

"Lily? What do you remember?"

"I sure do, I was a sluagh, it was neat, I felt.. " Happy sigh "whole. Miss Prim wanted to protect me. Nab was tall... and I think... I think I heard hooves down in the kitchen" she adds, "Oh, and there was a voice talking to Adam. He was gonna.. uhm.. no, he would never, he said NO to someone real loud, but because of that, the ritual couldn't be..." SHe looks at Adam "I'm sorry , some of the stuff I do remember is over my head"

"Tall?" Nab says "Like.. normal human size?" Yep. That's the important part

Adam tries to drive carefully, but there's a sense of urgency. "S'ok, Lily. Look, guys, I can't say for sure but the Chief has to know about Lily. It's not her fault, right? She shouldn't have to take an oath or anything, it's not her fault."

Harrumph. "Don't need any new sidhe bum-rushing a body."

"He didn't take his body he... he said he could keep it, but he needed power" Lily beams remembering "But he had to .. uhm.. what are entrails?"

"Guts."

"No way the chief will blame your sister. But if she was enchanted by this, it means it was no ordinary dream"

"Dude, I changed the house. Like, my room and the halls and the kitchen and my parents.... I changed them."

"Hooves? Oh wow, was your mom a satyress?" Zane says excitedly "That's.. wow. She'd be an awesome satyress"

"Off limits for what?" Lily asks

"I'll tell you when you're older," Nab promises "now , did I look good tall?"

Adam is closing in on the Lodge. "Ok, so... guys, what can we tell Lily? Before we get there?"

"Miss Prim told me about changelings and the Escheat.. I'm not dumb" Lily crosses her arms

Adam manages not to swerve off the road....

"Oh geez. I think Klump spoiled us. HE can keep his mouth shut" Zane says

"Well, she's enchanted already."

"She'll forget when she's not, and she knows the Escheat."

"Yeah. I'm gonna forget ..wait, why am I not upset by that?" Lily hurumphs "Adam seems to remember."

"Adam has a freaky pwoer that lets him see even when he does forget, it's different" Zane says "But okay okay, thank you for learning the rules, Lily"

"Right. And Adam will protect you, because he's your big brother."

"Ok... ok... so.... is there anything we need to tell her before we get there?"

"Um. Be polite?"

And they pull up to the lodge

"I'll be polite" she says "Adam's the one that annoys people" Lily says

"Your brother's cool," Zane defends. But they get out

Dag wrestles Flyswatter out and follows the rest.

And into the lodge they go (RV room)

Adam and Zane and lily drive back, lily smelling the flower

Adam recounts all he can remember to Zane..... well, almost all.
