Vali raises a brow, "Hearth, she can deny them because she's not concerne with her own happiness. How many tales are there of trolls giving up being WITH Their love to protect their love? Maybe we taught her troll ways too well"

"That...she got that from US?" Kerri blinks. "Of course she could, but she sounds as if the duty-to-father were instilled in her long before she got here. I have tried to tell her that her own needs and desires matter, but she keeps brushing me off."

"She needs a place so she doesn't feel she has to sell herself to a place. She needs a role fitting a sidhe baroness...." Kerri's thinking hard.
