Adam wipes his mace clean... or at least, less filthy..... with some leaves.

The pooka offers a cloth "here, blow your nose whatever"

"Oh, thanks...." and he uses that.

"D nader," She says with a shrug, "I'm a firm believer that a young man should polish his tool regularly"

Nab looks tempted to say something to THAT!

Adam freezes, then looks suspiciously at the pooka.

"Boomsticks, pointy things... and other htings y ou might use in a fight" The pooka says

"Uh. Yeah." Adam doesn't know what to say about that. To her, at least.

"You ever go hunting?" the pooka asks, "I Only ask because you seemed completely grossed about the field dressing and not interested in the slightest"

"No... dad's not really into it. I'd like to, I guess, but...."

"Well, if you ever want lessons, I'm in the book. Bambi was a bastard, don't let anyone tell you otherwise" Tiffany nods

"Yeah?" Interested, then wary. He looks at Nab. "Uh.... what did she mean?"

"I think she's offering to teach you how to hunt if you want." Nab says "Ugh. You may have to go without me on that one. "

The pooka taps her nose

"Yeah, that would be cool."

"Fantastico, so, did you enjoy nearly dying today?" An odd question, yet Adam feels kind of like talking about it since Tiffany is asking.

Then again, pooka bithrights are like that

"No, it hurt, and sucked... but... I really really did like... you know. The fight? The... the challenge of it? And being.... God, being involved? I got to DO something, right? Even if it was on this side, even if it was, like, just waiting... it was important I guess? I did a solid?"

"Like the bimbos I admire say so much 'Like, Totees'" The pooka nods, "I knwo you can't always trust what you hear from a cat person, but I'm trying to make it clear that what you did? " A pause, then a breath "My damsel is the second most important person in my life. You took out a threat to him.. and all the like hims that live around here. It gets any more solid it's gonna sink throug hthe floor"

Adam frowns, concentrating. "Uh. Welcome."

Nab says "I think she's agreeing you did a solid. The rest? I'm not sure"

"Uh, ok." He pauses, then offers "Thanks."

The pooka nods

"Ok, so....." He looks back at the Rath.

The pooka clears her throat, then smiles "You want to stick around here?"

"Yeah. They're coming back. Right?"

"Lassie will come home, but I thought you might need to go behind a tree by now"

"Uh. Naw." (He could use a brief break)

"Attenhut!" She calls out with a drill sgt's tone

Adam jerks to his feet, startled.

She looks him over, "Eyes lacking any sense of focus, shoulders are as uneven as the odds in a vegas craps table... and your dogs are so tired i ought to call the humane society. Why are you trying to fail your unit?"

"What?"

"You are so tired they wont' even use you as a meme any more. You want folks to rely on you, you got that can do attitude, but like Sgt. Eastwood said, a man's got to know his limitations! You need a break worse than a wooden board in a dojo! You have given one hundred percent and I salute you, but your battery is down, son, and you need to charge that thing or you WILL not be taking incoming calls. "

She paces around him straightening him where he lacks posture, demonstrating balance..

He takes the physical corrections. "Ok, fine.....

"Take five, soldier, a purple heart doesn't do your army any good"

"Ok, so... just.. fine...." And he dashes Into The Woods.

And tiffany takes that position and waits

back to the woods.

After a bit, Adam returns. "Ok. Thanks."

She holds up three packages, his choice "Army travels on its stomach sun it's why we got dirty belly buttons." HIs choice of Beef Jerkey, a hostess cupcake, or a chunk of cheese

He takes the jerkey. "Thanks, again, Miss Tiffany."

She smiles, "Anything for someone else on the front line. "

He eats it.

And Tiffany stays by his side for a bit, keeping watch with him
