She smiles. "Thanks. I appreciate it. And let me know what you think you want to do about the Gloaming. It's..." and she gives him the date and time and location. "I think Dagmar's going to find out if Symon wants to go. I doubt he does...y'know, noise...but maybe he will."

"Symon might go to work the edges, scare some folks.. put spiders in ice cubes in the punch bowl... that kind of thing. " A nod.

"Ohhh, you're right. He might." She smiles.

"Yeah, the wiggler sucks less than most" High praise "And his family doesn't suck." Thoughtful look well, as thoughtful as the sometimes dim cap can be "Thanks for the invite, Sylvi."

A nod. "You're welcome. See you at school, Dirk."

She turns and decides to go finish that jog.

"Yeah" And he walks off.... and when he sees a stranger, a guy five years older than him, he decides to start a conversation , "Your shaved head and that lip ring makes you look like a penis with a prince albert in it..... just saying."

Dirk will get his fight.

Sylvi comes out to the foot bridge and hears a conversation

She pauses to hear who it might be.

"Look, Damsel... why on earth would we NEED three bedrooms to take over the world?"

A woman's voice..familiar.

She smiles...Tiffany and Vali. She starts moving in their direction to greet them.

"Well, one for us.. .one for guests.. and one for... uhm.. future people" Vali says

She sees the two of them talking... and Tiffany's normally down ears bounce up, "FUTURE PEOPLE? Uhmm not that I'm worried aboutp rophecy..."

"Hey! Hi, Tiffany. Hi, Vali."

"Well, you know in.. just.. oh thank god a distraction . Hey Sylvi" Vali waves

She walks up to them.

"How's the house hunting going?"

Tiff whacks her boyfriend with her tail, "Hey, Covergirl!"

Sylvi beams at Tiffany's greeting. "Guess what? I just totally learned another level of Spring arts!"

"AND...I was a tree!"

Tiffany says 'You are ballsy saying that to a Canind American, but I respect it"

Vali chucklees, then says "ANother level? Geez..not bad. Sylvi."

"Thanks! So...what are you guys up to?"

"Discussing houses" Vali says "We found two that look good, one has two rooms... the other has three but for only a little more"

"Don't trust men on measurements, Cover Girl" Tiff stage whispers.

"Hurtful," Vali looks at Tiff, then goes on "I think we should get the one with three bedrooms"

"Never do," she whispers back. Then normal voice. "Well, three sounds cool. I mean..we always seem to need to find another room for somebody."

TIff wrinkles her nose "Yo're taking his side after our long years together?"

"Sounds like" Vali says smugly "Three bedrooms?"

"Well...what's bad about three rooms? I mean...one can be a workout room or something?"

"Well, he's a teacher and you know how loaded they are in money" Tiff says "And I'm a gundog... but they won't let me hold up banks"

"Is it really that much more expensive? I don't know much about buying houses...."

"It might take a bite out of our funding for a bit, Sylvi" Vali says "But I think in the long run it pays off."

"Welllll....what about....getting the smaller house, but you can put on an addition later? I mean, we fixed up the Barn, and the Lodge is always getting more little add-ons. You know plenty of people who could help do it, not to mention the local nocker builders. Cheaper for now, then pay for more later?"

"See, she wants TWO bedrooms. I knew it!" Tiff says

Vali sighs then ponders "Mm you know... maybe we could do something. "

Sylvi says, "Um...maybe I'm not helping. I'll let you guys talk." She edges away from the conversation.

"It's okay Sylvi. I actually I appreciate it. Oh..keep your eye out for the Sunday Surprise ... not sure why, but I'm getting a sense of green."

"Sunday...Surprise?" A dubious look...but she nods. "See you later." And heads back to the Lodge.

She meets Dirk on the road to the lodge. He's got a fat lip and a grin.

She is concerned for a moment, then notes the grin. "Yeah?"

"Got my fight. Won. " Happy

"Other guy survive?"

"Yeah... " A pause "You want me to go back and fix that?"
