Zane comes in looking around, "Dude."

Adam looks over. "Oh. Hey. 'Sup?"

"Just checking in, dude. Heard some shit hit your House this morning "He lowers his voice seeing that Mr. Greely is not in earshot. "You okay man?"

A shrug. "Sure. It was no big deal."

"Yeah? What was up?"

"Uh.... " he drops his voice. "Some monster attacked my mom. I went to help but the juice wore off. Nab went to get help. Dirk showed up and killed it. Then Symon and I got Dirk to the Lodge 'cause the thing bit him and he was sick. Then Symon and I went to school. Dirk showed up later." Matter of factly.

"Whoa." The satyr's eyes get huge, "Man I might have crapped myself."

"Nah, you'd have been fine."

"Well, dude, it it was after me, I can run, I'm speedy."

"But my mom? " A frown and shake of his head, "Is your mom okay?"

"Seems to be. We told her she slipped and hit her head."

"Good. If you want I'll drop by and check on her, give her a kenning."

"A what?"

"Oh sorry, Kenning is like.. our way of sensing glamour, some kinain develop the knack to... it varies a little for everyone ...most of its it's like ... a second sight with glowing inside of things.. but few feel like a heat... and some I've heard can even hear or smell but mostly? glow with warmth. Powerful Kenners can even sense changelings who aren't awake yet"

"Woa....huh. Didn't know that. Sure, drop by if you want."

"Guess it couldn't hurt. "

"Closing pretty soon."

It's acutally no time at all before the shift ends... and Mr. Greely closes up.. letting Adam g o.

Adam follows Zane's directions.

Directions head them from one plaza where he works, to another thta...well, went to shit. Crashed in 2008, never came back.

Adam follows around, and parks as instructed.

"This is good. "A few other cars are about but not many. Judging by the second rate nature of those cars, it's not exactly the rich kids.

Adam's car was new-to-him but hardly ancient when he got it. He nods and gets out. "Where to?"

Zane puts his hands to his mouth and calls out "WAAARRRIORRSS.... come out and play!"

A female laugh...

Merle! Merle comes out. "So lame"

Adam blinks at Zane, shrugs.... then looks, surprised, at Merle. "Hey."

"Guy, what is it with you and old movies?" A young black man with a very fancy fade comes out.

"Malik, Merle, this is Adam."

"We've met," Merle assured Zane.
