She turns next to Bluebell, beaming. “I know her, of course! I whispered to her when her whiskers tickled down the furrows,” she says, nodding with great importance. “And I asked her to take me away from the boring garden—all rows and rakes and rules, always watered just so, and told just how I'm supposed to grow!” Her tiny hands fling upward in exasperation. “I wanted to see the world!”

Bluebell sits back a little and says, gazing off over the lake, "Completely false, I have never set paw in those gardens in my life!"

"Oh yes, you were visiting the carrots, they are dumb but still good company-" the sprite starts,

"NEVER IN MY LIFE!" the Pooka insists!

Thistle gently extends one of the wings, examining the structure.

It looks rather like an insect wing, fresh from cocoon, and already starting to dry in the sunlight.

A look to Bluebell and a smirk.

She notes that, notes the details - taking in the sprite with an artist's eye, to hold in her repetoire.

"It was a lovely adventure." The sprite continues. "First we went to the forest, and rolled through the glades. Then there was the fields where we could dance and play and let the sun warm my leaves! After that we visited the mountains where there were Great Big Monsters, and the little sun bought us passage... then finally, we came to see the Sea!"

Waving her free wing towards the pond. "Now I have seen all that there is of the world!" Proudly.

"Eek!" The little chimera notices Button, and tries to fly away, but just flaps ineffectively in Thistle's hands. "It came back to eat us up!"

A soft snort.

An amused look, "Oh dear Cabbage," SHe pronounces it faux French 'Ka-bahge' "Button won't eat you. He and I are looking for a little kid who needs him. I've two in mind."

Button looks at her curiously, and then his mouth opens, and he says, in a soft fuzzy growl, "Colesprite!"

"Dont' eat her, please, Button. "

He just giggles, and licks his claws that still have remnants of jam.

"Balboa, you thinkin' the minstrel kid?"

"Has he not a fine equine?" Bluebell inquires, leaning in to tickle the sprite on her leafy tummy with a fingertip.

(She gets slapped playfully in response!)

"Actually, I was thinking of either your little brother or Flo's son," Gwen admits.

"The baby might be old enough, actually..."

"I mean, Noínín has a unicorn buddy and he named him Monobrow... I don't think we should risk Button to that," Then "The baby? mmm sure."

Meanwhile, the cabbage fairy.. er, Colesprite's wings are dried from the sun, and she gives them a few experimental flutters. Citrine checks the sprite's back, clearly looking for a key. Idjit.

"The Baby is two!"

"Button , you okay with a two year old?" A smile.

"baaaaaaabeeeeee." He says, and claps his paws... and glamour swirls around him.

His claws go IN, his belly poofs OUT, his fur fades to plush fuzz. And one button eye WINKS at Gwen before he goes inanimate... or perhaps, dormant.

"Fascinating!"

"Oh he'll wake up for the baby" A beaming smile "Hey, Thistle, you want to hand Button to the baby? Be the COOL big sis?"

"And Colesprite, there is someone YOU should meet and talk to. Name of Dolph."

"I'm already the cool sibling." Toothy grin.

(Nonetheless, she collects the bear)

She notices there is one new thing on the plush toy... a red heart on it's chest, just like a Mr. Bear once had.

She knows this well, because she sewed it there herself, with many a pricked finger and snapped thread.

Handed over "yeah well, you can never have too much cool."

Gwen turns to the little not-a-cabbage, but the sprite is already catching a breeze, her leafy wings lifting at last. She rises unsteadily at first, then steadier, arms outstretched.

“It’s time to see the rest of the world... bye bye… bye byeeeeee!”

Bluebell, nearly forgotten, reaches out as if to catch her from the sky, but looks to Gwen, uncertain if she should!

"Do what your heart says is right, Bluebell," Gwen shrugs.

"Chimera are gonna chimera, man."

Bluebell lowers her hands, but then pulls out a handkerchief and waves it at the Colesprite. "Bon voyage!"

A sigh, and she looks back at the two fae. "I AM glad you are here. For some reason, no one would ever believe me." SNIFF.

"Oh, they still won't. Thistle and I are going to tell Dolph you were throwing dressing on the Cabbage and wolfed it down before we could stop you," Gwen lies with a straight face.

Bluebell gasps, and hear ears go back flat. "I'm doomed!"

Citrine buzzes off, trying to follow the Sprite, dancing with her on the breeze until almost out of sight before she comes back.

She waves to Colesprite "You're lovely. May the world be full of joy!"

"Tell the truth. Cabbage sprouted wings and flew away." She shrugs.

"Sounds like a tuesday."

"He did not believe that when I told him the carrots did so." Straight faced.

"And I swear, they DID!" Twitching nose!

"A fun tuesday, and you know what, Dolph's love helped that Chimera happen. He DESERVES a medal or trophy."

And as Citrine returns, she drops... something... it goes TINK off Gwen's stony forehead and falls to the deck. (Dex + Athletics to catch t before it rolls into the pond!)

And she catches it smoothly.

Smooth as silk! Oh, and it WOULD have been easy to miss, too, as the tiny little round item is only about the size of a single peppercorn from her mom's kitchen.

Thistle throws back her head and laughs.

"It's a seed!"
