"Well. Dross is often destroyed in the working."

"Yeah I know" She says "But it's not my favorite and I want to gift my friend's brother more. Also I don't have much other dross. I got something weaker than this, but it's like barely aglow"

She pulls out a piece of paper, a bet written down it for a past race filled with foolish hope but yes, now down to a spark at most.

"You prefer this?" She asks dubiously "Barely any kick"

A frown.

"Dross has to be destroyed, so."

"It's all I got, unless Julius approves me for the hold's stash" She ponders "I'm missing something here. Look here" She hands the wager on paper and hands it over "Take which ever one you want in payment, or both"

The satyress is not an artist ,and is sure she's missing something here.

"Just... put it by the basket? I can't touch anything right now." She waggles muddy fingers at Dee.

"OH geez, I'm sorry, Thistle, you got that stuff drying on you and I'm gabbing away" She does put it in the basket "This can wait, and let me know if you want something else. What were you working on when I came in?"

"An amphora. For wine."

"Classy!" Dee nods "I'll leave you to it. And thanks for hearing me out on short notice. I'm a little jazzed about my friend's good news"

"New changeling is always good news."

"Damn straight!" She grins wide again "Thanks again!" And she bounds out, leaving the nocker to her craft

And the rainbow and thunder cloud get poked by Nevers!
