Aiden ponders the matter carefully, tapping his fingers thoughtfully against his teacup.
Art suggests, "A wisp might work,, using the Lakota name for the belt in the book?"
Aiden counters, "You must consider that you would need to trust the name in Lakota to be the true name of the belt. It is a risky proposition. "The wisp could just as easily lead you to some unrelated object — perhaps an accessories store on a reservation, or worse, a false lead altogether."
He takes another sip of tea before continuing, "Alternatively, you might seek out a contact among the mortals. Someone with deep ties to the Lakota, perhaps even someone versed in the old ways. Their knowledge of the belt’s true nature could help guide you more accurately."
A slight frown creases his brow. "You could also attempt to seek the nunnehi — they are always elusive, often secretive, and they do not welcome Kithain lightly, but they possess knowledge of paths most of us cannot even fathom."
He leans back in his chair, clearly weighing the options. "The question is: do you believe the risk is worth the reward?"
