"Right.. NOT so small" She says "That shark. I think someone was screaming 'get the tartar sauce' ... while I was getting GNAWED on"

"Coulda been Briar."

"Could have been" Thoughtful "She might have taken a bite out of it? I know Ivan did. " A proud look at her dog then she says "Okay glad it is coming to you" She looks at the teeth she's got, SHARP ones "I honestly forgot I collected these too though"

"They're cool. Can I have one?"

"Sure" She says offering the nocker her pick "You can do more than I can with them anyway, careful, they're super sharp"

Indeed, this is one time stone skin is definitely a plus, the chimerical teeth are indeeed quite honed

Thistle might not have stone skin, but the nocker doesn't have soft hands. That, and she has very dexterous fingers, for all that the joints appear as gnarled and knobbly as a rheumatic old geezer's.

As the nimble fingers pluck up Thistle's choice of teeth easy, Gladiola has to ask "So that thing is a gland? What do you need it for again?" Noting her friend's excitment

"There have to be celestial trods. Like, everything from the Ancient Greeks to the Star of Bethlehem, to Jules Verne, to Star Trek and beyond - people dream of the stars, so it'll be in the Dreaming."

Her jaw drops "oh geez, that's .. perfect for you and Art. Yeah, you ever hear of Orry's road?"

"I think it's a legend of the Isle of Mann, but it is rumored to have been a troll who did it. This viking ship sails up onto this island... and the vikings are amazing sailors and navigatorss compared to these southlanders who are STUNNED that this crazy nut just went over a thousand miles by sea away from his own home. They ask him by what road, or path, he traveled. He pointed up to the constellations and says 'THAT is my road'... and thus, Orry's Road. It is rumored that Road becomes even more potent in the Dreaming... but a testament to the stars guidance being quite literal but no less magical" She fondly remembers the tale

"Ooo..." Scribbling notes!

"YOu'll want to look that up, obviously I forgot some details of the tale, but .. maybe when you ever get that Star Zepplin flying, it'll be of use to know about. Me I was just on a 'rar rar TROLL Powah' kick"

"Oh, I'm gonna set Art on it. You think bloodhounds can track a scent?"

"Ha, him and Briar's dog are in a tie I think but I get you. You're right. He'll excel"

"I mean, Star Zeppelin is... kinda long-term, based on current skills."

"GOOD. That means I get to be over protective of you HERE just a little longer" She nods firmly

A snort and a shark-toothed grin.

She says "Hey, I know you're working in here, but want me to get you some food or a drink? Don't worry, the boggan is out of my system. I just figure mom or Madern will have something for us if I ask"

"Mm, I could wander to the kitchen. Sketchbook's portable."

"Grab it and let's go then" She suggests , bending down to pet Ivan

She hops down from her seat. Citrine is still snoring, but Vermillion, Teal, and Robin's Egg seem interested in following.

She looks around "I wonder where the little brick red one went? Ah well" She moves on

As they go to the kitchen they notice that Marigold has left out quite an option of foods, or maybe some of that was Gwen's doing with her help, "Oh hey.. uh... you're not going to believe what's available" She says

"....Cookies?"

"Hopefully the regular kind."

"HA... actually there ARE fudge brownies but check this out" She pulls out some chimerical snacks "Shark Jerky"

"Oooo..."

She takes some, and breaks off a small piece. "Muppet, sit."

Muppet , well trained, SITS, but it does look like he's trying to stretch his quivering muzzle by force of will

"Good mutt. Here." He gets a piece of jerky!

CHOMP ..AND wag his butt off

Ivan gives Gwen a LONG look, hopeful

Gladiola tuts "Ivan, you don't get a snack just because someone else's dog did"

"Oh, c'mon. Don't be a hardass."

Shameless puppy eyes from a dog far too big to be a puppy

"Hurumph. You don't know him like I do, Thistle. He's got no dignity some days" But she gets out a treat,. He starts to sit she says 'Nope, not going to cut it. Dramatic death scene"

At the command 'dramatic death scene' Ivan sways, as if poisoned, or bleeding out, no doubt afte rheroicly saving a human life. His swaying grows, he makes a weird dog cough choke sound, then ends up on his back, paws in the air, and eyes closed. One can easily imagine a rose placed on his chest

"Truly, he was the best of us" Her pride shines through her jest. Not every dog can pull this stunt or is patient enough to hold such a position

"Show off." She munches on her own jerky.

"You know it" And she feeds the 'dead dog' who chomps it as it gets over his nose, and then rolls to his feet "It's a miracle. He lives! Someone must have clapped"
