Madern walks by struggling under a crate's weight

"You need help?" Gwen asks noticing Madern struggling

"Oh, all I can get" He says

Gwen puts her gear down and takes the contents "It's not that heavy but it does have oomph. What's in it?"

"Ball Clay, whatever THAT means" Madern says

"Madern, tell me you did not TAKE this from..." Gwen starts to ask

Madern gives a long suffering sigh "No, when I go klepto it's not stuff I struggle to lift. The Baroness asked me to get it to Thistle's workshop. "

"Sorry," Gwen says "But I had to ask." She takes it towards the workshop "So Ball Clay... wonder what Thistle will make of it"

"Whatever she wants, " He jokes "She's a dmaned good artist"

Gwen smirks "She is. I guess I mean I wonder if this 'Ball Clay' is different enough to be a treat for her, and how she'll react"

"Oh no idea, but the Baroness ordered it as a gift to Thistle I think, or a reward for her good work?" Madern says

"The Ceramic Sunflower was a hit..." Gwen observes as she knocks on the workshop door with her freehand

"WHAT?"

"The Baroness has ordered something called Ball Clay for you?" Madern calls "I think it's from India, or maybe Czech? I don't know, but if you're not interested..."

Gladiola arches a brow at the Piskie, "You trying to rile her?"

"Who has to try?" he says softly with a smile to Gwen. He likes Thistle mind.

A moment, and Thistle opens the door. She has clay up to her elbows, in her hair, spattered across her apron and streaked on her cheeks.

"Bad time?" Gwen says carrying the crate

"What's it look like?"

"Well, I don't know, I didn't open the crate so I guess it looks like whatever Ball Clay does" Madern observes

"Not what she means" Gwen says "Look, it's from the Baroness so just tell me where to slam it down?"

A huff at Madern

"I'm just the messanger" He says "Actually I guess Gladiola is now. Where do you want it?"

"Clay goes in the bins. I should have an empty." She grumbles and crosses over to the corner to check.

Gwen puts it there gently, "How goes whatever you're working on?"

"Well, not terrible"

The shelves have a collection of... frogs?

"That's a lot of kissing" Gwen observes "Just to find a prince"

She colors pink beneath the clay. "Nah, I just had this dumb idea I wanted to try..."

"Secret project?" Madern asks

"Okay that's neat" He says with a grin

"They're useless, but..."

"Look at how red Strawberry turned out!" She picks one up to show off.

"Okay, that's actually strawberry hued no less, nice, and not useless, decorations bring joy"

"I'd steal one" Madern says hten adds, "That's a compliment"

"So long as you return it. Or pay for it eventually."

"Wait, you're selling them?" Gwen eyes them "Holidays coming up, mom might love em"

"I mean, maybe, yeah?"

"Save one for me, please" Gwen says "We'll talk price. " She looks over the fruit frogs looking for her mom's favorite fruit examplars
