Hoping he hasn't been set up, Madern opens the door to his room

THe room IS a bit of a clutter, and very teenage male.

But one thing noticiable is a box listed 'remember to return' . THere are some things 'borrowed' from schoolmates or bussinesesin thhe city

Thistle has trailed along, and peers in from the back of the crowd - she is NOT getting in Danica's way.

Danica digs through that box. A snort and a glare as she pulls out a penguin figurine. "This belongs to my sister and fellow Thane." A touch of accusation to her tone, and she continues digging. A frown forms on her mouth that deepens as she reaches the bottom of the box.

A brow "Yes, unlike a gun, a penquin figurine is interesting. And notice the 'remember to return' sign? I don't steal ,I borrow..."

Then, she starts a methodical search, without so much as a by-your-leave. Bedside table. Bed, under the bedspread, under the bed. Closet... turning the clutter into a true mess, as she tears down the room in search.

"Uh... Thane?"

She turns, in the process of shaking a pillowcase out... a shiny teaspoon falls out. A questioning glower?

"I... can make wisps?"

"Could you NOT tear my room up? "

Several items have been set aside that pointedly don't seem to belong. A lacross medal, a wolf's tooth necklace, that shiny teaspoon.

Pointedly what she doesn't come up with is... mane and tail cream, Marigold's biscuit cutters, Julius's inkwell, any sort of firearm!!... or a 3/4” ratchet bolt toggle wrench.

A grunt as she straightens, her knees not as loose as a wilders' as she rises and looks to Thistle. "Eh?"

Madern says "SHe's offering to wisp for your gun"

"Will o wisps."

A grunt. "Pyretics, eh? Nockerish, should have thought of it. Figured Art could omen one up, were he here." She shifts her weight thoughtfully.

Her spirals briefly shift a rather bright pink!

A brow raised at the color shift. "Ain't changing your mind, are you? Can you target props?" She pulls her holster off her belt and offers it to the Nocker. To Madern, "If she ends up at a piskey stash, you'll have more than a messy room to contend with."

A derisive snort. "I'm a nocker, ain't I?"

She turns the holster over in her gnarl-knuckled hands, examining it.

Madern glares at Danica "A piskey stash? THIS Is my piske stash . You've accused me of lying even when I gave you access here. You manhandled me, and torn my room up. You're not the one being wronged here,and weather you believe it or not, you owe me an apology "

The troll cracks her knuckles as she looks down at the smaller boy who is mouthing off to her. Perhaps trying to decide if the suspected theft is a betrayal of trust. Hmmm mmm

While his resentment is obvious, marigold;s boggan senses might sense a bridge is being burned. And that Danica is in danger of making a permanent enemy as abuse after abuse is piled on him.

Alas, Marigold did not follow to the room, she stayed behind to ward off other lookee-loos from piling in (though Thistle slipped through the cracks)

That earns a grateful look from Madern

"Speak not to a troll of what is owed, piskey. We will see." Stone faced, but it cracks a bit. "If there is another at fault, some other who has breeched the sanctity of this hold?" Relenting enough to get stormy looking at the idea. "They'll WISH they were just a light fingered kid."

"Speak not to a troll of... " He snorts "Wow. That's a nice get out of consquence for free power."

Even a Nocker, not always the most perceptive to non-machine tensions, can tell that Danica is on edge.

A shrill whistle, and she raps her knuckles on the hardened leather in a complicated pattern to summon the little dancing flame.

He stalks after the wisp

For a moment it looks like this last snapped remark hit a nerve - but Danica's willpower holds and there is not a piskie smear for poor Marigold to clean up.
