Her name said with a bit of a smirk

"Not if I see you first...." Muttered as she hauls up into her cab.

And off they go, each one sure at least the other has the worse name

but she's scored the ore, and that counts for something damn it

And now... time to experiment!

Getting it back to the hold, she realizes here she needs NEW muscle to get this ore off the bed of the truck.

She could tell Ernie to do it, but he's a noodle compared to some around here

She grumbles, struggling with it herself. Hell, could uncrate it and move it rock by rock if she has to....

She sees Gwen working with the dogs

She gets a crowbar and, with some effort and cursing, gets the crate open to start shifting the load.

"What's that?" Rochalor inquires. The stable boy horse pooka says "You find buried treasure?"

"Yeah. Exactly, buried treasure. Gotta get it in the shop."

Rock by rock

Rochalor nods, and says "Joe Says Go, Joe Says go..." And the rocks start to float in a a stream towards her shop... she'll need to open the door

She drops off the truck bed and gets the door open.

She opens it and in it goes as Rochalor is now singing "The shiney miney metal rocks went in the nocker's shop, over on the bench where they lands with a plop. In goes the nocker to wham them into shape. And now the nocker owes me soda, I'll take nehi grape"

As the last of the ore floats in, she sweeps the final piece into the bin and lets the lid drop. "Yeah, ok. Fair. Grape it is. Where do they keep it?"

"Fridge is where they keep it and the wumpus" A nod

"The hell is a wumpus?" she dusts off her hands and walks to the door, ready to go to the kitchen.

"Ever been wumped?" He asks

They go into the kitchen, and when she opens the fridge, she is NOT whumped... but she does find some cold sodas

"What's a wumpus, kid?" she growls, holding the soda up as hostage, dangling it.

He is tall for a boy, but still not THAt tall "A wumpus? It's bigger than a bumpus but not as as large as a Wumpem"

He holds up his hand "Cmon, puuhleeze"

She snorts. "Pooka." and gives him the soda.

In his hand vs. up his head.

Her mercy is the stuff of legends!

He takes it "Thanks, Mean Joe." How the heck does the kid even get taht reference? He drinks it "mmmm I'm gonna go play now"

"Yeah, get out. I'm busy." she leaves the kitchen as well and stomps across to her workshop.

And he follows her... but at the last moment before the door starts to play tag outside with ... is that a chimerical butterfly? Kids
