Sylvi works in tandem with Madern and gets broth to as many as possible (but he's welcome to treat Briar, yes, enjoy).

"You have a longer reach than I do" he tries, but sighs resigned

Soon they are all resting - except perhaps Nadeen, who insisted on getting up.

Danica, who was hit the hardest alongside Dee and Marigold, has passed right the f out.

"Are we sure that's everybody? Anyone outside of the hold itself suffering from this thing?"

"Yes, lots of locals. Theraflu was passed out. "

Sylvi's determination sags a bit. "Lots of locals?" A deep breath. "Okay...we're going to need a bigger pot."

Linnea has her boots half laced up before she fell asleep at the table, mumbling something about Hewitt.

The kitchen is well appointed, but there IS no bigger pot. There is quite a setup for baking, though, an entire pantry SHELF devoted just to fancy cookie cutters and biscuit presses.

"We could make gummy drops"

Sylvi's brow furrows. Her mother can put heatherbalm in cookies...but she doesn't know how to put Well of Life into baked goods. It just doesn't work that way.

"Or..." He ponders "Can you put it in a liquid before the liquid cools? "

"I think so. But then, how to transport the liquid? Ice cubes?"

"I don't suppose there's a big pool that we could just, like, dump everybody into?"

"Or...hey...what's the weather forecast for the area?"

"Jello cubes and.." he says "Weather? I barely go outside"

A blink. "Jello? Jello! Good grief, we're gonna innoculate them with Jello Shots!"

Nice for almost October in upstate NY!

A grin "The dreaming loves a theme"

"How much Jello do we have here?"

"I mean, like, the powder? How much is here?" she starts raiding cabinets in the kitchen.

"Loads! We normally feed a redcap so we stock up. Lots of lime"

"See, now if we had a bazillion coconut shells, that would be one hell of a bunk."

"We still have the song, though..."

"Why, going to camelot?" A familiar voice...

Nadeen enters then pauses so the bunk can go on

She turns around and smiles. "You're up!"

"Madern and I are about to put together some portable cures for people beyond the hold."

"Please do if you can. Do you need more dross?"

"It would help," she admits.

Nadeen reaches into a shelf "Ahha.Yes." She hands over a two headed gummi bear

"Oooooh, perfect!"

The gummi bear is sacrificed into a pot of boiling water, and once it is melted she starts singing about limes and coconuts and bellyaches and doctors as she mixes the Jello powder into the water.

Madern helps as directed, clearly fighting a bit of an urge to take lead

Every mold is put to use, and soon the cantrip-imbued Jello is cooling and setting.

Shot glasses, teacups, candy molds, dishes!

Jigglers EVERYWHERE.

Tired footfalls heard in the hallway. "Someone cooking?" Uh oh. Briar has stirred.

Nadeen says "Yes, Briar, a moment and I'll bring you something myself, but these are a medicine for others"

Madern smiles "Awesome"

A deep breath. "Okay. So...as soon as these set, we'll get going on distribution. The more the merrier on that task."

"Sylvi, you've done more than your part. We can distrbute them" Nadeen assures

SHe also says "Madern, find something non magical to feed Briar. "

As she steps into the kitchen, it is actually well that she makes a FACE at the jello.

"More of this invalid SLOP? Can't I have something with tooth to it?"

"Actually..." Madern says remembering "How about this..." He moves and hastily assembles a cold cut sandwich, heavy on the hams, turkey slices and bacon bits inside with a meaty bbq condiment

The jello is saved by quick thinking!
