Marigold looks as though she was a kicked puppy, but then quickly recovers. "Then I'll just whip up a smoothie for you."

"Or tea, with cream and sugar..."

She is not going to take NO for an answer.

"That'll be great, I'll have it when I get back" And Nadeen steps outdoors, not saying no but... apparently assuming she gets to pick the time

Marigold huffs a bit.

"uh oh" Blossom says. The normaly selfish girl is aware enough to know this is going to have... consequences

"Great meal, Marigold" Dee says trying to soften the blow

"No worries!" Her tone is bright.

Madern comes in from down stairs "Got the dusting of the hallways upstairs done, Marigold"

"Before breakfast? Oh, you. Come, sit, I made your favorite." She offers a hearty serving from the dish as promised.

"I forgot to do it last night" Ernie apologizes and explains at the same time "So yeah, needed to be done I... mmmm" A sniff "Wait, is that three kinds involved?"

Could be three kinds of cheeses, or chocolates, or even breads in a bread dish depending on what he's sniffing at . HE might be over or under by one, or he might be dead on

"Sausage, bacon, and cured ham." In the breakfast strata!

She beams. "You guessed it!

"Oh yes" He says "Meat HOly Trinity. Thanks! You're the best" A young man, he can be a bit of a pit

Briar reaches for the last pancake and gets her hand lightly tapped with a spoon. "You've had 6 already."

"Yes please" He says and takes it. Not gloating, but definitely up to the trait of stealing without shame

And he savors it ignoring the eyes. "mmmmm" A little sound of pleasure

It is at this point Marigold realizes someone is missing. Not just her lieges, they can be difficult to manage, but the little count

Marigold looks around, "Where is Lordling Casimir? I made blini." Even as she spoons another helping of biscuits with extra sausage gravy onto Briar's plate.

"I don't know, " Madern says "I heard coughing from his room, though I dusted too hard"

Marigold looks concerned! "I'll go check in on him." She pushes away from the table.

As she moves away, Briar starts in on the blini. They have cherries in them... though they are quickly disappearing.

Marigold heads up the stairs!

Ernie watches the blini vanish "ah ... that was for.. uhm right"

And Marigold goes to the rather nice guest room and at the door, she hears coughing

Sounds worse than morning flem

A brisk knock. "Lordling Casimir, you were missed at breakfast."

"no don't use my ritual...." mutter groan

"I'm coming in, fair warning." She counts down 10 before opening the door.

more coughing is her response

"Oh, dear." She hurries over, dampens a handlerchief from the water pitcher, and wipes his forehead before checking his temperature with the back on her hand on his brow.

She heads towards the door and rings the bellpull that normally would go to herself - it's a few moments before Bluebell answers, "Housekeeping? You need fresh towels?"

"Bring me some aspirin, hot tea, broth, clean sheets, handkerchiefs..." She starts to rattle off, and Bluebell interrupts. "The works?"

"Yes, thank you."

"... I can engulf them in winter " the boy count says, raising his hands "The rebels will be frozen in place"

"Shh, shh. No rebels here, dear lad." She considers - Heatherbalm works best on injuries, it doesn't touch many viruses... but she plans to call Linnea up when she comes in for lunch for a dose of healing anyways.

"Try to drink some of this nice tea." Marigold starts with good old fashioned aspirin for reducing fevers.

"Not rebels? you were always too soft, Nadeen. You dance like the snow, but you'll have to grow hard as ice if you hope..' Acough but then he is sipping tea

"Just you relax, would you like Nadeen to come see you?"

"mmm? where am I? I...oh, marigold? How did you get in the lands of high frost storming?"

"You've taken a bit of a fever, lad. You're in Apples, recall? At the Barony of Silverwolf, Lord Aiden's domain." She reminds gently.
