Aiden considers the collar once more. Perhaps it should wait for his kennel master... though he does feel curious about it.

Gladiola is not here, and may not be back for a time. Yes, he will try this out. A whistle at the kennels - he will find a volunteer.

His faithful Wolfhound, Fortitudo, or simply Fort, pads up to join his master.

Chateau looks up curiously at this

Aiden shows the collar to him, and rumples the older dog's ears in a familiar manner. A smile over at the younger wolfhound - indeed, Fort has acted like a much younger dog, puppyish even, since she has arrived.

Business, though - he affixes the collar around Fort's neck, and observes.

Fort looks about, then seems, startled at first, as if he's seeing something he completely missed

He wags, and gazes about mystified, and looks tempted to BARK at Aiden, but that is not his breed's usual way, and he sniffs as if reassuring this IS Aiden

And another wag and a lick

Aiden considers this, and strokes the hound's head. "What do you see?"

The dog cannot speak, but he is a fae hound, smart. He looks to the red wooden pannels, and barks, then looks to the yellow leash, and wags and barks. Each bark quick, and short. To confirm something?

Chateau looks curious. What IS he going on about?

A bit of jerky dog treat is crumbled in his hand, and then offered to Fort, with a touch of glamour. The dog may not be able to talk, but he can Whisper...

And so he eats it

and the bunk done and the casting done and.ready

Aiden whispers to his favored hound, "What do you see, dear one?"

"I see grey, brown, yellow and blue, but also Is see others now too." A wag of wonder "Amazing it is to see, a world of sights open to me. As different as sounds, as different assmells, a variety of sights is now unveiled"

Aiden laughs, amused. "A parlor trick, perhaps, but a pleasant surprise." To Fort, he whispers, "Do you enjoy seeing these things?"

"I think I do, for I see more of you, my friend, my person, who is always so true." Warm soft worship in his eyes

No one is around to witness... probably... as he presses his forehead to Fort's, gives him a kiss between the ears, and tells him about how he is the very finest of all hounds.

Chateau witnesses. And she wags almost as much as Fort himself
