Briar has fed the dogs, already (Sure hope Gwen enjoys her VACATION), and now has to gather blanket from a hanging line... apparently it's not supposed to go into the dryer. Wonder who's job THAT was supposed to be before she got stuck with it. As she starts to pull at it... she realizes the sun has shifted a shadow's outline on it. Someone behind her, hand carrying something and out stretched!

Her eyes narrow, and she pulls down the blanket with a tug! Trying to maneuver it to fall on top of BOTH her and the stalker, sure she’ll be trapped under there with them, but they will be trapped there with HER!

She drops the blanket over her stalker! There's the twang of a nerf launcher, but it misses as the blanket wraps over both. Whoever it is, tries to leap free... and nearly succeeds!

Of course, she's under it too. SHe can make out ap air of legs down here vaguely. He's half way out already

She grabs at the legs and PULLS him back in

Snarling, bellowing, nothing really said but quite a frightening vocalization

"Blast!" Says a young voice, and the boy is pulled back, but then dirt is flung at her eyes, whoever this is, they fight dirty!

She stops tugging and starts throwing fists! Wildly, she is half blinded by dirt and half by blanket!

There's a grunt of pain as she makes one hit, then another. That someone kicks her in the head, and is lucky her mouth wasn't open

Another sound from the recap- perhaps encouraging or perhaps MORE disturbing- she is laughing!

“Gonna rip and tear!” She tries to gather the blanket together to bind her opponent.

then a boy's voice speaks up , surprised "What's so funny?" Then she announces her tearing power

It actually starts to work, as she scoops it around the boy, but the boy counters with another gesture "Drink me not eat me, said the vial in the palace. Smaller smaller, go ask Alice" For a moment she thinks he's shinking himself, which would be hilarious because then she could play godzilla...

“Huh?” She stops, not recognizing the voice immediately. “You Ain't Joe..”

but it is the blanket that starts to shirnk before he's contained... going to wash cloth sized

The Sidhe boy has a fantastic bloody nose, "No. I am Count Casimer ap Varich, and you're amazing" a b ig grin

So there she is, holding a wash cloth that is bound around his left ankle. If she could look at a reflection, she's realize she had a black eye

The one handed nerf launcher nearby is really more like a hand crossbow

She looks at the Nerf crossbow, and cackles! “You thought you could take me down with that? Nerf isn’t a weapon! It’s an appetizer at best.”

“I thought Counts were dusty old stuffed-shirts sitting around court with swords up their arseholes. You can scrap decent, if a bit tricksy.” She says, “Are you sure you’re not just a regular snot?” A compliment, and/or an insult, as most polite things that come from Redcaps.

"The Baroness would be upset if I killed you I imagine, so I just use a nerf gun with a bit of dye on it to mark my targets. I already got the centaur in the rump. You were MUCH harder."

"ANd i'm' supposed to be older but this was the body I landed in" A sigh

A guffaw! “Serves Dungflower right!”

“Oh, shit. You jacked a mortal. That’s stone cold legit.” She offers him a fist to bump. “Respect.”

He takes it "And you totally had me surprised by dropping a blanket on us both! Amazing! I mean, redcaps are dangerous, but the smarter ones? A Nightmare twice over." A nod "I thought about shooting the Rabbit lady, but one of the dogs growled at me" A sigh "Fine beasts mind you"

“Yeah, I don’t recommend you mess with Bluebell. She looks sweet as sugar, but she has a nasty side to her. I ain’t got no proof it was her, but I swear, she coated all my armor and weapons with honey the day after I took her share of a sweet. The Thanes didn’t believe me that I didn’t just make a mess myself and made me scrub the whole thing down and oil and polish it. And it was full of ants, too, the little ones that bite but are too small to bite back.”

"Reallly?" He looks intrigued by the tale "Maybe she's a bigger challenge than I thought. "

“Hey, your funeral. She’ll put the ‘fun’ in it.”

"Cool" The boy seems intrigued, then rubs his nose "You clocked me a good one, and blind no less. "

She prods at her eye experimentally, it's starting to swell shut. “Wicked hook there. Or was that a kick? Kick ‘em when they're down, I always say.”

"It was a kick... " He says and shows "The boot is hard so it may have hit harder than I would have normally"

“You should put spikes on the toes. Willy, that's our original Nocker, she can do cool shit with metal and leather. Nasty attitude though, but you could just order her.”

"Oh, could I? I fear my daughter would sulk" A sigh "She's such a kill joy"

“You got a kid? You're shittin’ me.”

"Oh, no, Nadie was my daughter from Arcadia times" HE waves it off

"Well, if I were the heir of their countess I might be able to. Shape things up a bit, but sadly where I'm at I'll probably not be considered for heir to any Count"

He looks about "I was a bit rough on this spot before. Seemed a bit less.. grand than I hoped for her, but.. I do like the animals"

“But yer a Count and she's just a Baron. And yer her pops. That's like, double rank.”

"But this is her hold" he reminds 'Demense. And not my county. Sides, she probably wouldn't listen" A huff "She's Stubborn"
