Art quails under the scolding, his earlier good mood and cheerful demeanor draining away.

The scolding IS the first part, hopefully he also listens to the praise

“I am sorry, Baroness. It was never my intent to caused you trouble.” Quietly.

"If I thought it was, you wouldn't be worthy of the fondess I and others feel for you," Nadeen answers matter of factly, "You have been a blessing toour hold Art, but there are times your seeming lack of trust in some areas ..." A pause "Nevermind. You are a blessing, and if you have found a namer with those two caveats, then you have not just my permission, but my blessing.' A beat "I am sorry we won't be there. I was very much looking forward to seeing you grow as only ssaining can grant as soon as it happened. you deserve a full ceremony much like Thistle did. I feel I have failed you both in this, each for different reasons"

Gwen looks at Arthur

He exhales. “Thank you. You have not failed me, though I wouldn’t think to speak for Thistle. I never needed a party, or a celebration. Just to know who I am, is all I could wish.

Please don’t be wroth with us about being elusive. We swore secrecy to the Redfin. Thistle is not being Truculent, at least, no more so than usual. And Gwen is far from cowed, but how could she respect the Hospitality provided us, and betray their privacy at the same turn?

"Mmmm" Nadeen says simply "Well, you have my provisos if you wanted my blessing. And we are all proud of you three. Never forget that. YOu'll likely going to have a celebration whether you like or not when you get back. Now I'm going to put marigold on the line again. Is there anything else you wish me for before I do that?"

Art shakes his head, and then remembers to speak aloud. “Gwen should speak to Marigold. She sounded worried.”

And Marigold and gwen each get the phone back

Marigold was not offended, or is eager enough to reassure herself that Gwen and co. Are well than it doesn’t matter. “Now, tell me all about your adventure.” She asks, after thanking the Baroness.

And gwen does tell as much as she can
