"Nadeen is my Lady, and the Baroness of Silverwolf. Of Lord Aiden, my mind and soul have been laid bare, she knows me better than any. But of Tanya Brown, she is yet only seen as the paramour of an older, rich widower. I would dismiss their chatter as the murmurs of simple animals, but Nadeen would set things right, and any slight she feels, I will avenge."
He stops his stallion, which paws the ground with a hoof, and the well-trained mare stops along side. Aiden slides out of the saddle.
"I will not insult her to ask your permission, or for her hand, as though she were a bartering piece or simple chattel to be traded. But, Lord Casimir, I would seek your blessing, on my desire to ask of Nadeen and Tanya both, to join with me as my Wife."
He turns to Casimir, already beneath him from one mounted to one standing, and he bows noticeably lower than required from a Baron to a Count, in respect.
