• Ted the grafitti artist is chatting with Briar, who he calls a 'bad-ass hermanita'. She is on her best behavior, and actually seems impressed by the guy - at least, she hasn't bitten him yet. Julius waits his turn to approach, wanting to speak to him about bottle art styling for a newly branded varietal.
• Karen, aspiring lithographer is having an animated conversation with Bluebell - wide eyed, but intrigued by whatever tale she is being spun.
• Randy the painter-of-unusual-things is talking to Wudlig. They seem to be in deep conversation about automotive detailing.
• Trina's Watertown family has arrives as well. Greg looks a little rough around the edges, but Janice is supporting him emotionally. He is starry eyed, but doesn't appear to have been his first time Enchanted!
• Frankie whoops in delight and would be running wild if Rochallor and Blossom hadn't been asked to keep an eye on him. So, he may still be running wild, but if so, all three of them are along for the ride.

"It does, Chieftain, thank you." She listens to the tailor information (and may make a note later), and then turns to Nadeen. "Hey. I mean, Hello, Baroness." She offers the formal greeting with a bit of a wry grin and a brief curtsy.

ROchollar explains the whole truth to Frankie "So, you see, the Planetary Union willbe having me take their academy test soon. Ensign Thistle of the K'nockers is getting a commendation and will be transfered to Engineering, then onto Venus"

Aiden stands a bit back from all the fuss and greetings, happy to have Nadeen handle the more social aspects. However, he does point out to Hewitt the pieces on display, showing pride.

"Here is a self-inking pen, it came in very handy after I spent an entire fortnight grousing over lost inkwells."

Thistle does have manners, popping by to thank each for coming. "You'll forget this, but... you helped make it happen. Thanks for helping with Blaine. He almost snuffed out the magic that does this."

Sylvi says quietly to Nadeen, "I know you're really busy right now. It's just...really good to see you." Again, that half grin, then Sylvi moves off to mingle.

Other local guests are arriving, with Art acting as an Usher! A table that was conspicuously bare earlier, is now starting to fill with gifts - to be gone over later.

Sylvi makes sure to leave her gift there, a narrow dark blue envelope.

"Handy, is that a kind of hour glass of colorful sands built in the top?"

Nadeen whispers to Sylvi "Thanks for coming. I do miss old friends"

• Zelda Kuchenfritz and Adler Steinschlag arrive, arguing even as they head in!
• Elias and Lizbet, perhaps using this as a trial run before the Togail that is forthcoming, are parked under the Pergola and delighted to find that there is tea set out.
• A rather shifty looking weasel pooka is trying to convince Danica that the invitation he lifted from someone else IS written out to him, Jasper Hobb, but it's just in another language, you see...

Aiden nods to Hewitt. "It tracks how long one has been working, and after a set number of hours, it will cease to give ink, necessitating a rest." He rolls his eyes skyward. "Heaven save me from my own vassals."

And yes, Nadeen mingles, "Yes, please, for those who like, our garden is in fine color as well"

"ZELDA, you have to meet my NAN!"

Zelda heads over after dropping a gift that CLANKS on the table... and looks AWFULLY flamethrower shaped, if wrapped in landscaping burlap.

Greg gets a hug and he's given tea and snacks and sat where he can see Frankie playing with the other kids. "Muppet, stay." The dog is left in charge of her father.

"Well I'll be fucked sideways!" Zelda greets the old lady, and soon is in fine argument - er, conversation with the ancient dame.

Muppet leans against Greg, and he finds himself petting the dog without even realizing it!

Sylvi makes the rounds in true emissary/holder style. Inter-hold connections can be made or strengthened at such events, so smiles, smiles!

MOST of the Nevers are distracted by the playground built for them, but Citrine and one or two others are usually lingering near Thistle herself.

Dogs seem to be previlent though the big ones are out on patrol on the grounds. A tight circle to make the guests feel secure but not threatened

The sound of a car purring, and a rather fancy Tesla pulls around, followed by a Volkswagen beetle.. It seems that the guests from Bold Heart, the County Seat are here!

The Eilunid Namer does not appear in a cloud of mystical smoke, but was in the car, surprise! Though her voile is a proper gown, and she wears the silver heart on black of the County of Bold Heart, her mortal clothing is more casual, and she has a laptop bag tucked under one arm, rather than an Eldritch tome.

The Countess that accompanies her is more formal, dressed in a snazzy 3-piece suit with power shoulders and a cape, in Eilunid silver and black. Though she is accompanied by two companions - a wilder Sidhe male who seems to have eyes only for her and carries her purse, and a Pooka dressed in Thane's garb - a rather unassuming fellow with fluffy sandy-blond hair, round fuzzy ears and very plump cheeks.

He produces a tiny bugle from WITHIN his cheeks, and tootles a fanfare, then pauses for dramatic effect!

Sylvi gives the arrival her full attention and tries not to smile too broadly at the pooka's performance.

"Announcing her Grace, Countess Naevys Elsinore ap Eilunid! Ruler of the County of Bold Heart, and the Illustrious Dame Artemis Umbraquaesitor ap Eilunid, Finder of the Hidden, though I'm still not sure where I left my car keys, they were right here when I left them, and I know I had them this very afternoon-"

He gets given an EYE by the Countess, and continues,

"...Namer of the Court of Bold Heart."

The Countess steps forward and raises a hand in greeting. "Thank you, Sir Nibbles." She greets the Baron and Baroness first, and the starts on social rounds, paying proper attention to Chief Hewitt and Freeholder Sylvi in particular.

The Namer? She looks for Thistle.

Sylvi gives the Countess a full formal curtsy. "Excellency, an honor."

Thistle's spirals have taken on a yellowish hint - nerves.

The countess of Eilunid is gracious and seems friendly, inquiring about several key topics that give hint to her keeping tabs on the area, and others of note. Asking about Goldfinch, and one of Hewitt's most recent works!

The Baroness greets the Countess, "Welcome to Silverwolf, your excellency. Of which I and my peer and consort are justly proud. Please, allow me to make introductions" And she will, easing the process

Sir Nibbles is sampling hors d'oeuvres. An entire trayful may disappear into his cheeks. Briar watches, impressed.

Sylvi speaks of Goldfinch just having passed its first full year as a hold, and how it's nurturing the dreams of more and more performers. But she doesn't talk the Countess's ear off.

Thistle notices that even as the Namer is coming forward, Art is hanging back. He catches her eye and waves, he looks like he will approach, then notices the Namer and hesitates, clearly not wanting to interrupt. Though, that Sidhe is still looking around, Thistle could duck away before she's seen.

Thistle waves Art over.

He brightens, and steps over. He looks like his collar is a little roughed up, and smudged. Is that grease?

"Hey. The Namer is here."

"Sorry I was a little late. I had a last invitation to deliver, and... I'm sorry, I don't think Al will come."

"Oh... well, I guess I'm not surprised."

"I'll see him later."

Art blinks and looks around - ah, there is Dame Artemis, she has turned to the dais and is examining the surrounding area, and seems to be starting on the early prep for an extended bunk.

"I tried to convince him, and he made a stirring argument for me to, uh, leave him alone. He did give me something though. I left it on the gifts table."

There is a rather thin package on the edge of the table, wrapped in butcherpaper and twine.

"Cool! That's nicer than I expected."

"Oh, I'm supposed to ask you for a dollar." He looks a bit baffled. "It seemed to be important."

"OH!"

"It is!"

She fishes in her pockets before finding a rumpled bill.

"And I have to give the same dollar to him, else he'll know why." Art accepts it, and carefully tucks it into a pocket.

"Yeah, it's a thing."

Art nods, then hesitates a few moments, unsure what to say next. Finally, "It's really impressive that they got all this together so quickly. It looks fantastic. Of course, you deserve it."

"Yeah. I... wasn't expecting such a fancy shindig."
