Briar gives Ernie a smile that's only SLIGHTLY less intimidating, and gives him a whack on the leg, companionably. "You shoulda just SAID so. I guess you're not a liar after all."

She holds it up, from a distance , a long flat quarter, smooshed really good

Briar picks up the rag, and wipes at another shelf. "Anything else good in here?" She checks to see what's actually ON the shelves.

"Huh." she considers a nick nack, but it doesn't look especially tasty. "You got anything else cool?"

She drops the rag. "Nothin?" A sigh. "Then I'm out of here."

The little statuette is of a rearing horse carved in some sort of marble. And may no longer be on the shelf. But who would miss it?
