Briar must decide if evidence is more important than the drone kill

She slows, and shrugs. If it had been a meat-creature, she wouldn't have hesitated, but the drone doesn't look particularly palatable

Yeah, she's eatten scrap things before.

Dee looks to Willy "What can you make of the clue, Willy?"

"How the hell should I know until I -see- it?" Willy snorts, and clumps up to it, kneeling to examine it.

OOC Drones and high-tech aren't her thing but... say.... Wits and.... ??

OOC Eh. Coulda been worse!

BIC: SHe looks this thing over. Looks like a generic brand low budget drone (as long budget as they get) Camera is on record though. THey'll want to keep changeling talk quiet because it has audio as well. Can't have a range over a mile from it's control, she's sure of that

She turns the camera towards the ground, keeps it from catching her face, and makes a 'silence' gesture to the others.

Then makes a writing, pad-and-paper sign to them.

Dee starts to search herself, mouthing 'Seriously?'

"WHAT?" Briar asks loudly

Dee gives a shrug, she has no pad or pen on her. Not something she expected to need a in a man hunt

An eye roll at both of them.

She points to the drone, her own ear, then makes 'talking' gestures with her hand. Then a throat-slit sign.

Briar grumbles, but under her breath, and makes an exaggerated "stomping" on it motion. She knows how to fix this!

Willy shakes her head, no.

She looks at both of her companions, checks herself; anyone have a bag big enough for the drone? Can't be THAT big.

Briar stares dumbly. Perhaps Dee is wearing a cape or cloak though? Knightly stuff.

Dee looks at her cape, her KNIGHTLY cape, and sighs, then takes it off and offers it to Willy

Willy takes it and muffles/wraps the drone in it. She stakes it down with one of her tools (holes can be sewn up) and she leads the others away a bit.

"So it's got sight and sound; camera and microphone. Don't say or do nothin' you don't want whoever it is to know about. An' they're probably not more than a mile or less away. They know the drone is down, not sure if they know why. What's the call?" she asks Dee.

"My guess is we move fast, have Glass lead us to them, and kick their asses. But that might be a bit simplistic"

"Works for me." she hefts her hammer; metal isn't complicated.

(UNPause for Rae)

Briar shrugs, unconcerned. "This is boring. Are we hunting, cuz if not, I'mma go find something else to do while you poke at your stupid flying machine."

"We're hunting" Dee assures her, and they move on, leaving the drone tented and trapped. Glass sniffs the drone, and leaps off on the hunt again, heading down the trail

"WHOOOOOO!" Briar roars and is after her!

Willy jogs after, but she's not built for speed.

The satyr is, but doesn't try to outrace

Briar is short and a bit bow legged, not terribly fast, but she has the power of youthful exuberance behind her!

Briar will one day be a terror on the hunt, faster, bigger, stronger, hungrier..

but as it stands, for a kid? Shes still making a fierce steady pace

And so she follows after her pup...

As they give chase, Briar hears voices she thinks

With almost Diabolic hearing, she can make out the whining of prey..err punks 'Dude, they just cost us our drone. " "Relax, folks pay for funny shit like horses getting glued... whoever they are they can't find us.. if you SHUT your damn mouth" "what if they got a gun?" "All they got is a stupid dog"

"Reminds me, throw out the poisoned meat"

Briar lunges forward and grabs Glass's collar, hauling the dog back! Her eyes have gone narrow and glint murderously, but she just barely manages to restrain herself from jumping right in. She might be a deadly fae redcap, but she is ALSO a kid, and there are at least 2 adult males there who are sure to outweigh her...

Willy plugs along.

Glass Howls as she finds their prey! And then gets yanked back before she can dig into the steak....

the steak the redcap is sure is poisoned

Two guys look up. They're wearing masks, but the masks don't look efficient for COVD so much as making it hard to read who they are for the camera set ups

Sons of adam both, they're surprised as the under brush they were hiding in does them no good!'
