However, these very traits make them impossible for a companion dog, or even a guardian for any but the strictest and most commanding leaders. I bred for loyalty over command.
That said, from what you have said, an Ovcharka alone might not work for you. However, these pups are half Pyrenees, and that has sweetened their temperament further.
